I got a call, checked out the website and it looked good. When they called back I made a donation and had no problems. I don't want to let scammers keep me from helping out legitamite officers programs.

i thought it was quite funny. but "joe" has a point. ive been telephone by the so called state police numerous times, before and after i heard of the scam. i just hang up. i actually donated the first time i ever got the call. 10.00 bucks. what a shmuck i was....lol

They called yesterday at around 6pm. I called to find out who was calling me and got this strange message from "Joe" and that he said that he's out to scam. He is representing the State Police Association and that they only get pennies per every dollar that comes. He said that they are treating him like a slave and the message advised me to report the number to the telephone company and the Attorney General's office.

someone called from 602-464-4949 saying they are a state trooper. The number is a land line. SCAM!

Dignified male from 602-464-4949 identified themselves as "state trooper". We've had a rash of police/fire etc calling for 2 weeks now. They keep changing the department. Had to get rude last week to the 'police' but they change hats and try again. Mostly agressive male callers. Made mistake of donating to a phone-called fire department 5 years ago - now we are bait.

This person keeps calling and says his name is joesph and that he is with the state police and wants to know who is at home jerk better quit calling beacause I am a police offier what a idiot you never know whos home your calling kepp it up and watch what happens next!!!!

Yep... I just called the 602-464-4949 and a machine picks up, does not say who it is you are calling, says the phone number again and does not allow you to leave a message because the box is full. They've called me twice in the last two days.
