Wow!  The fact that telemarketers are ignoring regulations let alone bothering a law enforcement person is scary.  I am glad you did something to investigate.   So sick of these telemarketers calling while I am having dinner with my family.  Empower marketing?  That's a new one.  Always a scammer out there trying to deprive your hard earned money.

Don't know how this person got my cellular number, which is a Canadian number in BC, but received a call from 602-466-3831(did not leave message). Called on March 21 at 3:19pm.  WANT THE CALLS TO STOP CALLING.  VERY ANNOYING.

This number is calling my house.

i received a call from 1-602-466-3831 and they asked for sandra and I said yes, then they hung up, I tried calling the number back but the phone would ring and ring no answer.

Everytime I get a call like this I save the number under ZSCAM, ZSCAM1, ZSCAM2, etc.
I run them thru this site first of course. Then when additional calls come in - I immediately
know I can ignore it.

Recently I purchased some item at Sear's Dep. Stores.  The cashier' was so persistent in obtaining my Phone # that I almost said to her she can keep the merchandise.  but she was nice hoping that maybe  she will call me.  Instead after I return home with 30 minutes I start receiving over 10 calls every hour, day and night from this number:  602-466-3831.  since I work for the Law enforcement I have my sources to investigate this criminal behavior and is as follows:

Telemarketer in this case: "EMPOWER MARKETING"  and hundreds of other similar companies purchase this list in order to:  Sell or invite you to join their company,  and that is how they make their living.

Registering your number will do little or nothing to stop the calls, as the matter of fact the call will get even worst because most of this callers ignore this regulations.

Best way:  Change your phone number and do not provide your number to NO one except your love ones or people you care.

Do not appreciate receiving calls when I have blocked my number on the national level.
