This is a scam company. They aren't collecting bills for legitimate companies. So if you have bills with whoever, it is most certainly not them. I have dealt with debt collectors and this number is not one of them. It is just a lie.

Called from a 603-589-7557, just called and then hung up after a couple rings, we have that many trashy people out there.

Quit calling this number, this is a elder woman who has very limited minutes. She is on the do Not Call, so if you continue, I will report it/

No way to stop them  except to sue them.  You can contact  FTC if you can prove they are calling before 8 am or harrassing you but FTC I feel have had probably had hundreds of comlaints against NCO but see they are still in business and getting worst.  I think because of some of the remarks on some of my posts they are especially out to get me.

I guess I hold the record for the most calls from NCO, even think the calls will follow me to the Funeral home but I never intend to give in to these dirt bags even if FTC does.

NCO must really be mad at me,they have increased their calls using many different telephone numbers. I have posted comments on other boards when I get a call from that number.  Just go to show they are not scare of FTC and probably think they are so powerful they can do anything they want even if it is not legal.  Collecting a debt is legal but not the way they try to do it.  I guess if they get a law sue against  them and I understand they have been sued ,they just write off as a expense of doing business.  Unless FTC takes action, I guess there is no stopping them and that is not going to happen as FTC will not stop them  FTC has been notified many times about NCO but no action??

I have no debt and get calls from this number sometimes 14 timesa day. I have asked to be taken off the list and I still get calls, 745 in the morning till 9 at night and even on Sundays!  I hate it!

Receiving calls as early as 7:45am. I thought that creditors could not call before 8am and as late as 9pm.

I have recieved a call from this number everyday 5-6 times a day, no message is ever left. When i call them back i get the automated msg as well. When i tell them i recieved a call from them, they ask me my cell number, one day in particular i spoke to 4 different people before anyone could tell me why they are calling. Supposedly i had a walmart credit card and used it one time and never paid it, they are calling for that. I keep telling them, i have no recalection of having this card, but since its under my name i have to pay it, and its not even under my credit report. So they ask me for my social, but no thanks i will not be providing that info over the phone.!!!

This caller continually calls hourly and never any answer

This number calls every morning never leaves a message and calls 6-9 times a day does not make any sense

they have called me 12 times in the past 24 hours and no one will talk its getting really really annoying and would love for it to stop! i owe no debt to anyone

they also call from 9722178339 - and since I don't have ANY CONFIRMATION nor messages left about why they are calling, I've assumed they are marketers ... therefore have reported them to the NO CALL LIST as I am on it. I do have debts from previous unemployment but if these collectards have no balls to identify themselves as to what and whom they are collecting for they'll be treated and reported as marketers! meanwhile I sent a certified letter to NCO asking that they remove my limited cell ph that I use for business as I have NO CLUE why they are calling or if they are even calling for me. BY LAW I am allowed to ask them to stop calling my work phone or stop any activity causing me hardship via excessive calls to my limited cell # that's not even in my name, also did not sign the letter -just provided the cell# -  since they don't identify themselves either :)

Same ditwads with NUMEROUS caller ID's. They call from every state in the union. Best to NEVER asnwer a call from other states unless you know who is calling. I owe Belks a little over a hundred dollars. I may pay some day. Or.................I may not! We will have to get together on the issues.

Same here....never a message, just silence.  No identification.  I don't owe Capital One anything.  Don't have an account.

I do owe Cap 1, and I have explained to them that I am one of those MILLION unemployed over 2 years w/o any benefit aid.  Once I find employment, I will resume making payments.  A lot of creditor do not do a good job of updated their customers records and passing on the information to the collection agency(s) they use.  They are wasting their time and money.  One call a week with a message is more than enough.  I've rec'd calls from the same area codes except 757 (I'm sure I'll get one soon).  I don't bother to answer any more.  Once I explain my situation, THEY should have made notes in my file, but NOOOO, they put your phone number in an auto dialer call program system, if you decide to answer, the call is transfer to a rep.  It's a waste on their behalf.  I get very few calls from family/friends, thanks to the internet so I keep my phone on vibrate since 8 out of 10 calls are from them alone daily!!! Luckily for them, my debt is too low to file chapter 7.

These maggots have more phones in more places than motels have bedbugs! Eventually a call comes from a "friendly" area and they gotcha! Best bet is to NEVER answer ANY call from ANY number you do not recognize.

many calls from NCO, i blocked them by saving them in address book and sending directly to message box, any other sollution?

It is a company called NCO Financial.  

Just today alone before 8:15am, I have received 2 calls from 2 different numbers.  With caller ID and not having their number registered, as another poster said, I don't answer calls from unknown numbers unless they leave a message and then if interested, I call back.

I recommend taking note of these numbers so as to be able to avoid some of their calls at least.

Why do they rotate numbers?  Simple, they figure correctly that people will try and avoid their calls.  By rotating the numbers, they effectively get around all efforts to stop their interruption of the days business.  Hoping the harassment upsets a person enough they would rather pay this company than buy food or shelter.

Because of their harassing fashion of calling, I'm collecting these phone numbers and for the embarrassment these calls cause me having to say excuse me as I reply to another call and then oh I'll contact them later..  I'm strongly considering suit..  

Someone posted  Fair Debt Collection Practices Act  and I'm going to look into this to see if I have a leg to stand on first...  I won't go to battle unless or until I know I'd win.

ncd fin group is what caller id says. i have answered but - no one. i read posts from above saying it is a collection agency.  we pay all of our bills on or before they are due -so it sounds like a scam.

call me all the time--leave no message--who is this??? and why all the mystery calls?? I am a senior citizen and do not need this nonsence.

I have been out of work for 2 years now...have tried talking to debt collectors and it gets you absolutely nowhere but more frustrated.  Had one ask me what source of income I have...I said I don't have any, the only thing I get is food assistance and ! asked them if they wanted that (I had enough of the harassing call at the time...lol)...the lady actually said if that could be taken as payment they'd take it!  NICE!  I have two kids, and that comment made my blood boil.  Needless to say I LOVE my phone for it's auto reject feature!!!!

I checked my P.O. Box just incase they sent a letter to my place. Nothing, and they're not leaving messages, so it must not be important.

I would google the Collections name and the complaints, because people are saying some very interesting things about them.
