This number keeps calling my cell phone and asking for someone I don't know.  I have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number and to never call my cell phone again, yet they continue to call.  I have no clue who they are and don't really care.  They are getting reported.

I have FOUND THE SOLUTION TO THESE CALLS! I called Verizon, my home telephone services company after HUNDREDS of calls from this and other numbers. Yes, they are phishers claiming to be some sort of pharmacy.

Verizon told me that many of these phishers BOUGHT MY telephone number from 1-800-Pet-Meds!!

Verizon as well as other home telephone service companies provide (not for free I'm afraid) a service called CALL INTERCEPT. And I can not say how much peace and quiet I have enjoyed since adding this feature to my telephone service.

Call Intercept prevents UNKNOWN, UNAVAILABLE AND PRIVATE incoming calls. BUT MOST IMPORTANT? I have an 800 number to call, put in my password and ADD WHATEVER TELEPHONE NUMBER (such as this one) and it BLOCKS ALL FUTURE CALLS FROM THAT NUMBER.

The only pain in the a** is that you need to write down the number and call the Call Intercept 800 number and ADD it to your list of blocked numbers. The other thing is you might continue to receive calls from what looks like extensions - meaning same area code and same prefix and maybe a "6679", etc. I have had to add three telephone number with this area code and prefix and sequential last four digits.

My telephone has been so quiet the past four or five months, I swear this will work for you as well.

CALL INTERCEPT WORKS. VERIZON also has placed a TRAP on my home telephone number. By the way, these calls are being placed through INTERNET servers, some of which are in Canada. The callers can call you back so many times (despite my harassers being in INDIA and Indonesia) because they are using Voice over IP - which is how they can almost instantaneously call you back when you react angrily to them. These jerks are using the Internet for placing calls - which is why Verizon offered to place a trap on my line as well as providing the Call Intercept service.

I am delighted to share that I have peace and quiet - with the very rare call such as from this number today - which I am adding to my Call Intercept BLOCKED CALLERS LIST.

I hope this helps you.

Good luck and Kindest Regards.

received unexpected call today, August 16, 2007 at 9:51AM.  I just missed getting the phone in time, but when I did pick up (as my machine would normally begin greeting, the caller had already dropped carrier and i just got a dialtone as a result.  Weiird kinda...where is 603?  only kewl thing about the 7 digit # is it comprises a palindrome...   ya know, when a word(s) spelled same both directions of tyraversal....

One I remember learning in first grade at my elementary school: "RACE CAR"
The longest string that can be spelled as is and be the same as when spelled reciprocally is:

"A man, a plan, a canal...panama"  (obviously without the punctuation i added for readability)

Received a call at 3am local time. It's got to stop! It's not the fist time I see this number on my caller iD. I tried to block it but to no avail. For some reason it would not block this number from coming in. Help!
