I just called Target's collection department, and they confirmed that this is their collection department.  She asked for my cell phone number, and before I could explain what is happening, she disconnected my call.

I have no idea who this is or why they are calling but they call almost everyday and hang up! They don't ask for anyone! Annoying!

I'd been getting these calls too, and they were calling several times a day, but never leaving a message.  I finally waited a few seconds upon answering, at which point a woman with an accent asked for someone named Thomas.  Since I don't know anyone by that name, I assume that my cell number had previously been registered to this Thomas person.  The woman assured me that she deleted my number from their database, so we'll see.

I have received several phone calls a day from this number on both my home phone and my cell phone.  I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number, and they never leave a message.  who is this?

I get calls from 6123075811 I don't answer it because them hang up before I here my phone and they don't leave a message on my voice mail I have a go phone and it waste my minutes. I don't know who it is but would like to find out.

This company calls multiple times every day, even while I'm at work.  They say they are a collection agency looking for a person I have never heard of.  Clearly, whoever they are looking for used to have the same telephone number as me yet they will not stop calling, even after I've told them that they have the wrong number.  They are costing me minutes on my cell phone and jeopardizing my job because of their incessant calling.

I had an account with Target, closed it, paid it off and they have called. They never leave a message. I don' know why they would call on a closed, paid account.

I keep getting calls from this number as well. I do have a Target account in good standing. It shows up on my caller ID as a Minnesota call, which is where the corporate office is located.
No one leaves a message. It is getting VERY annoying!

This is Target account services and they are calling my work and hanging up all the time!  A former employee had bad credit and now it's haunting me!  When my voice mail tells them who I am you would think the idiots would quit calling!  Now I remember why I don't shop there!

Target must really need my $25 payment pretty bad.  Funny, I thought they were doing OK; financially speaking. And before any replies about paying my bill are posted, know that I do normally pay.  In this case I was out of un town on business for an extra week and just didn't bother dealing with this till I got back.   Considering I paid 4 times the scheduled payment last month, I'm suprised they need another $25 so badly.  Maybe I shoudl pay the $300 balance off and offer to loan them a few hundread dollars more at an A.P.R of %18 with no late fees so long as payments are made on time (LMAO)!

This number is from Target Visa. The call is originated overseas. Therefore, when you answer, give it a few seconds for the delay. you will eventually talk to someone.

However, when you call the "612" number back, it does go to Target Card Services. When I called, they had no idea as to why they called.

I did shop at Target and had a Target card. I paid it on time every month and this number still calls me 3-5 times a day. It rings and when I answer there is no one on the other end. When I called the number back it stated that it was Target National Bank. I have since canceled my credit card and refuse to shop at Target and the number still calls on daily basis. VERY ANNOYING!!

I've been getting this call three to four times a day.  Thanks to the info here, I discovered it was for Target and their Credit Cards (which I don't have).  I called the number back and, rather angrily, told them what was going on and that I wanted it stopped NOW.  They found my cell number attached to an account and (supposedly) removed it from their systems.  The woman said it might take 24 hours for it to completely clear the system.

I just spoke with the collections department with Target.  My cell phone number was connected with a customer with the first name of Omar.  They removed my cell phone number from this account and gave me a confirmation number.  They did thank me for advising them of this error.

I got 2 calls today from them. No message.
