Honestly, what do they hope to gain?  Are they just validating numbers to sell?

Received a call from this number while was talking on other line.

Just received a fax just like the above.  My Co. legal counsel says it is definately a fraud.  Not sure of their agenda.  Do not respond to the 613 # listed on the fax.

After ignoring the faxes from Canadian Equity Partners for many months about selling my business, they sent one from Montblanc Mergers Associates(same address/phone numbers) thinking I might be interested in purchasing other companies.  I wish my sales force was this persistant!

I have also been receiving the same type of fax, so I didi a search on Internet and got all yopur comments. Thanks, I just saved a bunch of time. We get these types of requests almost every week.

I got one of these today on the fax at work. Since I work for a large public university, I passed it around as a joke, but I'm tempted to call the number and say yes, in fact, I am interested in purchasing this university and closing by December!

Same faxes here. If they won't answer their phone, I can't tell what they want. Are they just bottom feeders looking to pick up a business in trouble or they wanting to charge for their services as a broker?

Got the same fax from Canadian Equity partners.  Scam for sure!

i called them today and got busy signal repeatedly. Then phone rang for 5 minutes and not picked up.
Finally spoke to an obnoxious person who said partner was out of town.  Yes it must be a scam. Thank you advising us

We have received many faxes as the above ones from Mont Blanc Mergers.
Today they put on a new twist, it was from Canadian Equity Partners! New twist same bs

Mont Blanc Mergers Associates/Canadian Equity Partners has been indundating us with unsolicited faxed advertisements, a clear violation of the TCPA.  Where all the TCPA lawyers when you need one?

Have been receiving faxed offers from Mont Blanc Mergers Assoc (877-342-4169) for several months.  Always to the the "to be removed" phone number and enter my fax number and am told number has been removed.  Today, called phone (613-236-4790) Canadian Equity Partners to speak to signer of todays fax, "RJ Rios".  Got nowhere until I said I was about to file inter-state mail fraud charges.  Mr. Rios said he would remove our number right away.

Do a google search on the phone numbers and the results are very interesting.

Same deal as the others.  This is my 3rd email from Canadian Equity Partners.

Ditto.  I called and told them I was forwarding their information to the BBB and FBI just to mess with them.  Then I faxed them a photo of my middle finger.  Just kidding, I only wished I had done that.

I've gotten half a dozen- interesting that they are all diferent and appear to have been written as follow ups to previous ones.

Received two faxes 3 days apart.  Could not find company nor phone number in Google. The 2nd fax had a toll free # (888-635-4527) to call to remove my fax # from the list.  I did do that.  Thanks for the comments.  They confirmed my suspicions of this being a scam.

Recieved a fax offering to buy my business.  I agree, probably a scam.

Received the same fax today that others have said they received...saying they, Montblanc Mergers Associates Ltd had a very serious buyer for the business...but they had no web site and no email...definitley a scam.

Got a fax from Montblanc Mergers Associates. Ltd claiming to be from Toronto, Ontario saying they have a serious buyer for our business.  Get serious!  Do they really think we'll call?
