Did the "press 2 to be removed" work?

I have been receiving calls from the same area code, same prefix, but as one other complaintant has said, the last 4 digits are similar but always one digit off, so I believe its all coming from the same office too.
I am registered with the Do Not Call.gov, I have complained to them now like 3 times, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good, just a big waste of my time signing up, and filing complaints over and over again.
Our privacy issues that the government says that we have, is a joke as far as I am concerned, nothing is private, and apparently no matter what we do, there is always going to be scammers out there bothering us for the rest of our lives.

Got call from this number. Don't usually pick up numbers I don't recognize but I did on this one. I answered, hung up on them and blocked any future calls from this no by using blocking feature on my phone. Love my blocking feature works like a dream.

The do not call registry works only for the legitimate telemarketers. The others like bank credit services etc. are scammers. There is not much one can do about it. In my case I only answer numbers I recognize. The Government reported earlier this year they have received over 2 million complaints from the do not call list. If they can't stop the calls who can?

Enter "sim box" into a search engine and you will find out how they are able to call from all over the place. They must buy these sim cards in lots of several dozen at a time

Robo  call--important message about your credit card acct.  Have rec'd numerous calls.

no message because I don't answer a number I don't recognize.  This is a recurring nuisance.

I always take up a conversation with them. Ask them if they have all my info and phone number, when they say yes

don't answer this number.  Phishing scam for sure

I have calls from 616 613 2220.2221/2220/2227/2229. I believe all are from the same scammer.  It's either  a bank card services
Or a call about a medicare product.  
I don't answer but I block each one as the calls come. Maybe some day I'll have them all blocked

Just type "do not call registry" in your browser and you will find the site where you can report these unwanted calls

I did the same thing, f off with more colorful words after it. Hoping she would quit.

Called back and pressed 1 to talk to someone, no one answered, said to leave message so I did. Said I would sue if they called again. Am sick of getting calls from this number. Am on do not call list. Said to have a good day and that I would if they call back again. I left my phone number. Called back again and pressed 2 to have my number taken off their list, message said could take up to 48 hours to do so.

Been getting calls from these jokers for months.  When pressing "1" anything other then a "yes" gets you hung up on, rather rudely and abruptly.  I called the number back (616)613-2229, and there is an option to be removed from their list. However, if it works, I will know soon.  I am still filing a complain with the FTC.

They are constantly calling and when I ask to talk to a supervisor or to be removed from their calling list they hang up on me.

Got the same call this afternoon. Pressed 1 to talk to a rep. When she got on the line I asked her what I needed to do to be removed from their call list and she hug up on me. Filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry.

I have been getting these calls too, so today I didn't answer and then called right back.  Reached an automated system that prompted me to press 2 to be removed from their call list.  Did so. We'll see if it works.

I get these calls constantly.  But since it's on one of my "junk"  lines that I never wanted but the cable company insisted I get to save monthly charges as part of my cable/internet/phone package, I use the number as my "official" one for all people I don't trust.  I have it plugged in to my fax machine, so all they get is electronic buzzy noises whenever they try to call it.  The legit people know my real number.

Really tired of these calls,when you get them to stop calling by posting their info, the number changes and it starts all over again.These people are calling from all over the USA.It's getting ridiculous.I am on the Do NOT call list but it seems that it does not work,as they still call. These ones are calling from Zeeland MI  with this number 1-616-613-2229.They always say the same thing,You dont have bad credit but we can lower your interest. I have pressed 1 to be taken off the list but I still get the calls.Someone please do something.

They are nuisance callers but  I have phone record to file law suit keep on calling me --more money in my pocket1

I actually got a hold of a "representative".  I told her to "F" off and she actually started a debate with me.  Hopefully this will get them to eliminate my number (which is on the Do Not Call list)

bad number scam 7/17/13

Answered the phone to a recording wanting you to push 1 to lower your interest rate. However, nothing was ever said about what bank it was supposedly calling. Leaving me to believe it's a scam of some sort, I just hung up on them!

They keep calling and saying something like, "There is nothing wrong with your credit card, however..." and that's when I hang up. Today I repeatedly asked the person on the other end who she was and which credit card company she *supposedly* worked for and she hung up on me. Clearly a scam but more than anything, these calls are annoying.
