THE PHONE NUMBER THAT PRANK CALLS MY PHONE IS A 619-000-0090. I GET VERY FREQUENT CALLS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WHO IT BELONGS TO.

I also received harrassing phone calls from these heavily accented men. They had an obscene amount of my personal information, threatened that I had a warrant for my arrest in California, and if I did not resolve this I would be liable for thousands of dollars. Which resulted in me filing a report with my sherrif's office, FTC, BBB, and placing a fraud alert on my credit. I would highly recommend you all protect yourselves with lifelock.com. The president of my very large corporation urged me to sign up. They will run your information for payday loans, etc that do not require credit checks. I never knew that people could use your information to get payday loans and NEVER EVER run a credit check. This SUCKS!!!!! Like I said in a post for a 310-359-0446, another # they say on their voicemails, if we all get together I would place a class action law suit. Unfortunately, we do not have enough information!!!

I got a call this morning and this foreigner said the same mess about calling my job, and contacting my attorney. This is another SCAM. I've had four call me within the last three weeks. Something needs to be done.

the first time this person called they said that they were robert wilson, then they called again and said that they were mark white.  Unfortunetly i have applied several times for payday loans and am not sure if this is a scam. I believe that it is. I would like this person to stop calling me.

..i got a voicemail also yesterday morning tellin me callback the number 619-342-0173 coz they have charge against me due to unpaid payday loan.. and then they call me bout 10 times with a number 052-946-605.. the guy's name was ROBERT TERRY w/ an indian accent. and when i ask what is the charge about he pass the phone to their attorney named MARK SMITH.  the scary thing is that they know y name, mailing address and last four digit of my SSnumber... so immediately i reported it to our local police..

Got a call from this same number as well. I've been getting calls from these people since Jan. I remember trying for a loan then but never went thru with it. So this person called and left a msg on my phone to call back on a different number. As I mentioned before, I have been getting these calls for the past few months. So I was already aware of the scammers. So I called him back and played along with him...after he read me the supposedly fake affidavit, he asked me a question and asked if I would be honest with him. His question was, have I ever been arrested for fraud, scam, or money laundering?.. I told him no, and asked him if HES ever been arrested for scamming?...he was surprised and said excuse me?...I asked him again, and then proceeded to cuss him out and told him not to ever call my number again...you &*&^ *^%&$&$ T$^$&^*...&^*%#^#^ &$^  As professional as he portrayed himself, he couldn't help it but to cuss back and tried to threaten me...I hung up, called him back and to my surprise he picked up...I cussed him out some more and told him to get a real job and a life LOOOser!! Don't let these low lives get to you. DO NOT BE SCARED!! just hang up on them. If it were the real deal, you would get legal papers in the mail instead of some low life scum bag calling people over the phone. Hope this helps and sorry for getn' a lil carried away!!

got a call from this # today they threatened to take me to court over a payday loan i never got. I know its a scam.They wanted my lawyers info and told me when i got the paperwork to take it to court!!

A guy named Paul Jones who had an Indian or Pakistani accent callled my job from an obvious overseas number (052-946-6005) and asked me to call him back at 619-342-0173.  The stupid thing about these prank calls that some folks may find very unsettling is and I hate to put it this way - an Indian guy with a very american/english name - There's something wrong with that picture.  He left a message saying that "you or your retained attorney should call him back regarding a very time sensitive matter and to not disregard his message and that if I disregard his message all he could do is wish me goodluck as the situation unfolds.  I wish thh FBI could set up a task force to deal with theses incidenst because they are becoming more prevalent.  They should track these criminals down and bring the full force of the law down on them.  They are working in conjunction with someone who obviously is very familiar with the payday loans scheme and the amount of information disclosed in those apps.  I will continue to ignore any call I receive but I'm advisng everyone to be alert...

Got a call from this a weird # and they left this number as a call back as well.  Indian accent telling me to call back as soon as i got the message and if i didn't all he could do was wish me luck because the situation would fall on me.  I didn't call it back but made sure to save the message just in case i ever needed.

Caller used name Jennifer leaving threatening message on my mom's answering machine re money they allege she borrowed. She did fill out a loan application, but never received loan when she learned of terms.  Since then she has received all types of unsolicited phone calls, scams, etc. so I believe the anonymous reply to Jeff is probably accurate, e.g. hacked or sold loan app info.  When she returned call spoke with "Mark Jones" who threatened that "they" were tired of messing with her and that she would receive "subpoena". They had some basic information, but were fishing for more. Like Max's experience, the caller had heavy Indian accent.  Another call to number just rang and rang with no answering machine or voice mail. They attempted to intimidate her by demanding to speak with her attorney. She never borrowed money, just scared her to death in the hopes that they would receive $345.23.

Scammers trying to scare folks into parting w/ their $. Be sure not to say "yes," rather uh-huh, yeah, etc. so they can create tape and say you granted them a license  to steal.

They called from 52946605 [only numbers showing on cell phone Caller ID] and left wonderful oh so friendly voice message about how I or my attorney needed to call them right away @619-342-0173, and made veiled threats, then wish me a good day. E Indian or Pakistani accent.

I got 3 phone calls today from 052-946-605.  Someone named "Kelly", with a very thick Indian or foreign accent, left me a message telling me that either I or my attorney in fact needed to call back right away.  They further went on to say that if I didn't call back they would find me and that all they could do was wish me luck.  I called the number back and it was busy the first two times.  The third time I called, it rang like 15 times and someone answered with a plain "hello?"  Then I said I was calling someone named Kelly back.  Then I could hear another caller (like the lines were crossed) and she was trying to get information from this number as well.  I hung up and started researching the numbers.  This 052 number is a Swedish cell phone number (so Google says).  This is kind of creepy.  How can we report these as harrassment!!!

I've gotten calls from this number about a month ago.  They called me back-to-back days last month and then proceeded to call me twice today... i called them back last month and told them that I was having thier number investigated and they hung up.... THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM!   They are starting to piss me off.  like the previous message says from Lisa, they are now callign from a number (052-946-605) and giving the call back number of 619-342-0173.  I dont see how they can keep getting away with this crap.  Who can we notify?  FBI ?

called stating they had charges against me and they were calling from c williams. they called me at work i told them they could not call me there and they told me to call back 619 342 0173. they also had alot of my info as well.. he had a very heavy indian accent and he said his name was mark smith before when he called he was tom cooper..

I received three messages this morning by the same number stating that I need to call them back and that if didn't legal matters will take place and all they could do was wish me luck. It was strange that a middle eastern person would be calling me this morning from a 619-342-0173 number which was not the number that showed up on my call id box at work. Something has to be done by all these disturbing calls.

They called me today and scared me to death stated that they were going to press all these charges over money i never received. Luckly someone told me it was a scam.. I called them back and they hung up cause they are liars.. They had an indian accent hope this helps they stated that they were from c,williams and associates.  the number they called from was 052-946-605 which is not a real number and the 619-342-0173 is the number they said to call back to. After they left a threatening message saying if i didn't call them back they would find me!! beware of this it very disturbing the amount of info they had of mine!
