Why don't you all go educate yourselves about how real non-profits and professional fundraising firms work (who actually provide jobs for hard working Americans here in America). But I'm sure you have no problem paying you ATT bill even though 80% of their call center jobs are farmed out over seas!!!) There was even a joint letter from the CEO's of Guidestar, Charity Navigator & the BBB (the watch dogs for charities in case you didn't know), all together saying do not buy into the "overhead myth"...look it up and do some light reading. IGNORANCE must be bliss...

Same thing, telling me that he was law enforcement. I didn't get far, he wanted to know if I was over 18 years of age...DON'T EVER SAY YES TO ANYTHING TELEMARKTERS SAY! THEY WANT YOU TO SAY YES TO ANY OF THEIR QUESTIONS TO TRICK YOU, THEN THEY RECORD YOUR SAYING YES AND THEN SAY YOU AGREED TO GIVE MONEY TO WHATEVER THEY WANT!!

I agree with the above. Having an incoming call ID of "incoming call" is a dead giveaway that it is a fraud.

Junk operation pretending to be a Police Department fundraiser. Only 1 cent out of each dollar raised by these ripoff artists goes to any charity -- the rest is pocketed by the telephone boiler room outfit. DO NOT DONATE TO ANY CHARITY OVER THE PHONE!

Live telemarketer claiming to represent a law enforcement kid's charity. I told the guy that our sheriff has advised everybody in our county to NEVER respond to telemarketers claiming to be allied with law enforcement. Caller ID said "INCOMING CALL." Obviously it was a deceptive spoof.

Called pretending to be some Police Charity. Did not sound reputable at all. Beware!
