They called me saying they can help find my dog thats been missing for a week now...yes i do have a dog missing on craigslist and they called saying they can help me find it with in 5 days...asked the name of company said they don't have one...and gave me some bs website finddogandpets.com and wanted $40 to start..i just hung up...his voice was on my nerve!!!

They called so I pretended to be totally naive about computers. After 10 minutes of not being able to find the start button he was really frustrated. Then I told him that I need to use the bathroom & to hang on. He hung up & has not called back.

Why do i keep getting calls from this number? I wont answer it because i don't trust it but would like to know who it is.

The "Do Not Call List"  is of no matter.  Anything you sign up for or contest you enter (online or locally) that asks for phone number allows them to call.  These calls from these numbers are illegal to start with they do not care about the do not call list.  This list is just something that was made to appease the people about telemarketers, problem is if you have a phone, cell, cable, satellite, repair service or anything service you use is allowed to call you.  Most charities are void from the "do not call list" so in the end it only stops certain calls.  Even than they have up to 8 weeks sometimes to take number off list- until that date arrives they can call when ever they want saying "sorry but these calls will end soon once your number has been entered into system".  Any company that actually does not use computers but lists have no idea what numbers on on the do not call list, and chances are your number was given to more than one employee and if you pissed one of them off all they have to do is nothing, and the calls will keep coming.

This number called said hello and hung up, believe it is the same people who called before.  Have reported the number again to phone company.  It is an american number.  Says disconnected when called.  Wish these people would realize that every time they call, I report.  If you have a Cogeco cable phone, press *57 than hit dial to report.  I do not answer phone unless I can see number.  Now when I get a call from an number I do not know for anything like computers or anything else, including no one there when I answer I report the call.  

A call from the above number came in to my home phone at about 10:17am today.  When I answered the phone, the caller had hung up.  When I called the number back, I got a recorded message, stating the number was disconnected.

I put my home and cell phones on the "do not call registry" about 3-4 months ago.  I had done this before, but I started getting unwanted and annoying calls over time.  During the past week, I have gotten at least three of these types of calls on my phone numbers.  What is the good of having a "do not call registry" if anyone can get your number and call it?

I had a phone call last night at 9.30 stating there was a problem with my computer and to go to start etc etc I told him I could not understand his parkistani accent and to put someone on who could speak English which he did. I tried to find out who he was and what he wanted.  I was hesitant because I had had a problem with my computer the day before and had sent in a report to Microsoft.  He did not make any sense so I hung up on him and then he phoned again and I ignored it.  I now keep getting calls from Missouri

The dumb crooks just called me just now and when I called them on their SCAM they hung up the phone ... They were using trying to get me to give them my info on my computer....lmao  .......

10/17 16:50 No ID and message is an idiot saying hello to voicemail.  Returning call to number gets standard disconnected message.

Got a call from this number....says he is from HP and needs me to run some commands with him on phone.....I said busy and not now....he said he will call back.   this doesn't seem like something HP would do.   I am going to call them and ask them about this.

Trying to tell me my computer was in danger of crashing any minute because of hacking. Man with Indian Accent.

Just got a call from a person with the name Max Decaprio. Same situation saying from Windows Tec. Support.  Said they needed to have me go on the computer as I had files that were being accessed by hackers and needed to have them help me "clean" my computer.  Asked for a phone number, got very upset that I would not do what he wanted.  Gave me number but I'm sure it is not worth the time to call.  Said time was of the essence so I asked how long this was going on..5 or 6 months..lol .  Makes me mad tho they even have my phone number.  Hope he cant access my computer or I will have hackers, jeez..

It's a scam!  Microsoft (Windows) does NOT call people unless you have sent them a help ticket online.  He can't shut down your IP address.  So no, this is definitely NOT a legitimate business - it's a scam to get access to your computer (and all your financial info if you keep it there) as well as get access to your credit or debit card.

Received a call from this person with an Indian accent claiming to be Max Decaprio with It Solutions calling on behalf of Windows.  Very condesending and rude person who wanted me to go onto my computer and do several steps when I kept asking what it was for he continued to tell me it was about my computer and the fact that it had a virus that was affecting thousands of other people.  He told me if I didn't follow these steps that he would shut down my IP address and I wouldn't be able to have access to my computer.  He did give me a number 1-218-353-1189 of their service department when I called they answered as IT Solutions.  I told the person I did not want to speak to the person I talked to, named Max Decaprio, because he was rude and condesending and the man asked me if I wanted him to fire that person.  I said yes.  HAS ANYONE VERIFIED THAT THIS IS A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS?

Do you really give your credit card number to strangers??? So idiot!

Kenny had a strange accent that sounded like fake middle east. He told me he was from Gateway computer and that my HP computer had been identified as having a virus that coiuld be spread even if it was turned off. He said that he knew what my computer was. He asked to me to let him put software on it that would clean the virus and protect it from things like that in the future. He wanted my credit or debit card so I could be billed $100. for this. I let him go into my computer and he told me to look at the screen that came on. It said that it was filled with over 100 spy and tracking software programs. I gave him my debit card information and told him he could put in his software and clean and protect my computer (HP Pavilion).In a few minutes my computer made a strange noise and totally died. I called my bank to check my credit card and was told that 750 dollars had been charged to it. Since it is a debit card, I can not do anything about the lost money.

They called me, they knew my name and where do I work, and occupation... (I am in Finland), they asked me about my private investments and promised that somebody will call after 2 days to arrange the meeting. Lady said her name is Alex, some accent existed. She said her company name is Global Partners Inc.

KNOW YOUR IP ADDRESS - write it down.

If/when they call again ... ask for the IP address of the computer in question.

If they claim it's your computer ... they should have no problem telling you what your IP address is.

They called me last week ... I asked him to verify his identity by stating my IP address. I said ... if you know it's my computer, you know my IP address ... correct?

Two or three seconds of silence ... then I asked him what he wanted from me... exactly.

He hung up.

Bn calling for months now...  Their terminal calls my home but no one talks anymore and after few seconds a numeric message sais "good bye" and hangs up!   Is there a way to stop this???

Myself i love it when they call,i ask them to hold on just a second and then i blast them with a Marine/Sport air horn,done it twice so far.Since the last call/blast they never called me again.
