CALL FROM 630-869-6983. Caller left no msg. Numerous calls from 630-869----

Keep getting calls from 630-869-6983 and 888-211-7299 about home security.  Have requested no more calls many times but calls come from same man several times a day

I don't know what the phone number was that called, nothing appeared.  I answer the phone and they wanted to set me up with a free home security system.  I asked them what is the name of the company she was callling from and she said WCA.  I told her I was on the DNC LIST and that I would report them.  I went on line to search out this WCA company to find out more on them since I didn't have a phone number and the above it what I found.  Think it is the same thing, but now the number if blocked from showing up.

By the way I just called the number back, they hung up obviously when I was talking about a 1993 news broadcast, and it is the WCA Offer Clearing House and when I called back I simply pressed 1 to have my number removed. Sometimes these places have a number used by more then 1 spam caller so it may not always be WCA Offer Clearing House calling, but that is who it was today.

I just started talking about a news broadcast from 1993 on this date 9/22 when they called me and so I don't think they will be calling back as it was not a legit call and rather a spam call. If you just talk total nonsense it makes the people realize you are not interested without having to be rude.

WCA, I am so tired of these jerks.
They call from multiple numbers.
Good thing my new cell phone has a number blocking feature.
Every time they call I will just add them to the BLOCKED list.
Sooner or later I hope they run out of outgoing telephone numbers!
Base on how these folks run their business I would never buy anything from them!

This is the same company using a bunch of numbers similar to: 404-891-6671.  I've read in many places that it's a scam to waste minutes.  Some numbers have you press 1 for more information and 3 to be removed, other numbers have you press 1 to be removed and 3 for more information... pressing either number does nothing but waste more minutes.  You are never taken off their list.  The company is WCA... sometimes it's Author Clearing House and other times it's Offer Clearing House, but it's always WCA.  From doing research, all I can seem to find is a place to complain about them breaking the "Do Not Call" guidelines set by the government.  To complain, go to this site: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.

I complained, for what it's worth... though I doubt anything will happen.  I used to get 5-10 of these calls a day... now I only seem to get 1-3 a day... I don't know why.  I hope this helps someone out there figure out what to do with them...

I have also received a call from this number a couple of times but have never answered. I'm assuming it's some sort of telemarketing.

Called today, said that my husband would be in serious legal problems if we did not call back today. I called them, he was extremely rude. Would not tell me the name of the company the loan was received from. We have never even applied for a pay day loan. Jeff Williams kept asking me for money. When I told him that my husband has never worked due to his disability, he hung up on me. I tried calling back several times. As soon as he heard my voice he would hang up. Now when I call no one answers.

First time receiving a call from this number. Don't recognize it and want them to never call again. It does say the number is from IL. Called my cell at 3:05 pm EST

Got a call from this number and I didn't answer since I'm at work. I called it back and sure enough it asked me to press 1 blah blah blah. I stayed on the line for about five minutes to see if it'd get me to a live person, but it didn't so I finally disconnected. I don't care if they call me back, I'd just like to know why they are calling me and how they got my number. If anyone can shed light on this it'd be greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

I just got a phone call from them too. I know people in Downer's Grove so I thought it was somebody I knew but I when I googled the number, this posting came up. Sure enough, it's WCA Offer Clearing House or something. I called back and put in my number to be removed on the automated system, but we'll see...

Got a call just a few seconds ago, didn't pick up.  It's 1 digit away from a number that has called me as a scam before, and similar to others that have called.
