My number is UNLISTED and on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Called my cell. Did not pick it up. They did not leave a message.

It is up to you to report violations of the dnc list. If you don't report it how do the feds outside the nsa know?

they have started again just received one myself in MA.

Called at 8:30 AM - said "BRENTS GENERAL" on the CID. Did not answer. no message, then immediately called me back again. Still no msg.

I'm on the DNC list, too, but I just got a call from this number on my CA land line. Caller ID shows "Brents General." This scam artist has called me many times in the past, but not recently until today. I've now blocked 631-267-8263, so I'll see if they call from another number.

What is the use of registering with Federal and State "Do Not Call" lists when it seems no one uses them? I have been on the list for  years with my cell number and now  am starting to get these friggin robo or telemarketing calls.  Of course I report it to the FCC every time I get a call. Sometimes 5x a day per phone.  Maybe if we all start blowing up their hotline with complaints they will start acting on them.

I am also registered on 'do not call' lists!

I received an unsolicited call from this # 631 267-8263. When I stopped what I was doing, dried my hands and answered the phone, there was silence. After saying hello twice to no response, I waited 15 sec. to hear a click and then dial tone. They obviously make multiple robo calls and respond to the first number that answers.
How can you get off their list if they won't even stay on the line long enough to talk with???

Got a missed call no message on my cell. Getting same type of calls on home # also. I am registered on do not call list for all my #'s

Caller ID said BRENTS GENERAL. No doubt a scam call What is the matter with the Do Not Call Registry? I never pick up unknown callers, so I don't know the line they would be using.

Just got this one about 20 minutes ago.  No message, just someone saying "Hello, hello" into the phone over and over.  Funny that there were no complaints for almost a year, and then a flurry of complaints in the last 2 hours.  Looks like someone got out of jail today...

I didn't pick up on this call.  They left no message.  But by the posts here, I will not call the number back! And place it on my blocked list, as I have better things to do then deal with such scams as this!

The only reason I post this is that the posts I see are a year ago.... and this happened today.

I just received a call on my cell from this number (631-267-8263).  I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.  I put a block on the number so they will be unsuccessful in another attempt.  It's useless to report these calls for the most part - they'll just get another number and continue their spamming, so as long as I don't recognize a number - I will continue to NOT answer AND block them.   From everyone's reports, it appears that they are a corrupt organization.  

Caller ID shows Brents General. Call from 631-267-8263. No message left on answering machine.

I just rec'd a call from this # but they hung up when I answered. tried to call back 2x and got busy signals. It sure helps to be able to research #s like this. I plan on filing a complaint.

Just got this call myself. Reported for a do not call violation, pre-recorded message to a cell phone. Voicemail grabbed it but here's the text of that:

... To your current credit card account. There's no problems currently with your accounts. It is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9% your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please Press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates, or press 2, to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day.

This call is an attempt to STEAL your credit card information. They claim that your visa card with a balance of $3500. I don't have a card that totals that exact amount. So by that point I had already pegged it for a scam. I gave them a fake expiration date to verify and then they proceeded to all for my 16 digit card number. I told the caller that I would report them to the authorities, but before I got to authorities the caller had disconnected.

Do not fall for scams like this. Protect your information. The only company that can lower your interest rate is the card issuer solely. They will not try to contact you.

I received a call, but didn't answer since I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I tried calling back, but the line was either busy or no answer.  From reading these posts, the funny part is I have no credit cards.

Received a call from same company this afternoon....Not home to get it...No msg. left.
If all the above information is correct...that's funny, because I don't even have a credit card!!!

I got a missed call on my do not call cell phone with AT&T.   They didn't leave a message and when I tried to call them back, I got a fast busy signal.

I received a call also and am in the Phoenix area.

They were asking questions about my credit card.

I didn't answer.  I always google the numbers when I don't know who they are.  Glad I did not answer this one.  I wish they would put all these people in jail.

Got a call from this number at 9:45 am on 7/26/13.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  No VM message was left so it must not have been important.  It's annoying especially when you have a loved one in assisted living with hospice.

I just got this call from this # I'm sure they are fishing. I don't know if it's coincidence that I got this call immediately after I placed an order with Walmart and gave them my # to text me when it was ready. Of course I got a text immediately from Walmart and then the phish call
