many calls from 1-704-247-4057 caller ID  shows name, United Insurance. if you call the number it does not connect or even ring.

They just called me and asked for personal medical information. When I asked for his name, he hung up. He not just sounded rude, he sounded real creepy. I blocked the number.

Tell them to give you their TAX ID#!! And say that you are going to check them out first. Then, google the number they want you to call back on. You'll know if it is a SCAM, or not, right then and there. Tell them you are on to them because you have called the FBI-Internet Crime Complaint Center to get them to stop. I told them that I was going to complain to the NATIONAL SECURITY about their Terror Threats. They asked,"What threats?" And I said;"Exactly."LOL

I have been on the Do Not Call list for a very long time and they still call.  I don't know who to call to stop this.  I really don't know if anyone really cares.

Got a call from someone with a very bad connection.  I didn't answer the phone the first two times but he kept calling back to back so I answered.  He was demanding right off the bat that I put him through to one of my drivers.  He called from a number that started with 707-666, by the way...I dint remember the last 4 numbers.  I asked who was calling and all I heard was "This is ::static:: with the "law enforcement agency" (seriously, they can't come up with something better?).  I informed him that the man he was looking for didn't work at this office.and he asked who I was.  I told him "His manager."  He then gave me this number to give to my driver.  I did so then thought to google it because it was so fishy.  I immediately texted my driver that it was a scam while he was on the phone with the guy, where he immediately told the scammer that he just looked up the number and knows it was a f****ng scam.  The guy hung up.  Apparently he was telling my driver to meet him at the courthouse with $423 dollars.  I called this number and I get a voicemail (I kept calling back to back to back so they started going straight to voicemail) that says "Hi, this is Brian.  I'm not AWAILABLE right now...uh..not at my dess.  Leave a name and number and I will get back to you within 24 hours."

Are you delusional? The DNC registry DOES NOT STOP these low lifes! If they are willing to commit felonies, do you think for a second they care about calling ANY phone number to scam someone? Not likely!

Once again the government can spend millions of dollars to kill US Agents in a reverse gun scam but can't stop slime balls like these.  Pretended to say I was being sued but when I told them I was a government employee, this 'foreign voice' told me it didn't matter.  So I informed him I was forwarding the info to the FBI...he never stopped talking...is there a deep pit we can throw these bottom feeders into?

I am soooo glad I found this information!! I have been receiving phone calls about an employee for a couple of weeks, each time they call I say I do not know anyone by the name they are asking! Well today things got ugly. The man who called himself Patrick Wheeler asked me for my employee, when I said I didn't have anyone by that name and then told him this was a business number and we do not accept personal calls anyway, he said it was very important. I asked what it was about and the guy said my employee has used our company fraudulently. I said I would take a message and try to get it to the employee. So I took down his number. When I tried to ask him what company he said "A law firm". Then I asked him "What law firm" and he muttered something I could not understand. So I asked him to spell it but then he told me that was none of my business. So I said "Ok, if it's none of my business you need to stop calling this place of business!" and he hung up. A minute later he called back and asked for the employee again!!! I said "Are you seriously calling back here after the conversation we just had?" and he said yes I need to speak to John. I said "Look I don't know anyone here by that name. And he said "Don't get smart with me you M***** F*****" I hung up immediately!!!
He called back two more times after that, I ignored the first one that came up 0000 and then my employer answered the second one and got the same name calling. (We are both women as well). In the meantime, my John called Patrick and was hung up on repeadtedly. Seriously, I do not understand this scam if they are going to hang up on the person they are so passionately trying to reach!!! We are going to file a police report. The Patrick guy hung up on my employer when she said she was going to call the police and has not called back today. I will update if they continue to call or if we find a solution!!

Likewise, got a call.  Asked for a supervisor, apparently the caller doesn't have a supervisor.  When I asked who he worked for, he got irate saying I owed money... unlike some of the posters here however I have NEVER taken out a payday loan or even applied for one.  Again, it's freaky because they have bank account numbers, social security, my wife's name and number, etc.

I keep getting calls non-stop from this number. They claim that I owe money as a result of a loan. After researching all of my bank statements i confirmed that I was being falsely accused. The people that call are hard to understand, they call over and over and over. Even after you have spoke with them they will call right back. They will tell you right to your face that they are going to call you over and over. They even went as far as calling my house and harassing wife. She said to stop calling as it was waking our baby. My baby was screaming in the background and he still called. he even called and left me a voicemail on my cell phone stating that he was going to keep calling my house and upsetting my wife and waking my baby. As soon as i called them out that I had no record of this. They say oh maybe this was an over sight. Each time I talk to them they give me a different company name if I get any name at all form them. But then less then 2 hours later I'm getting calls form a different number from  a guy who sounds EXACTLY like the last people. Sam tone bad speech you name. Again he called me about 20 times in a row also. It's ruing my life, Please help me.

To all of you with complaints about these scammers posing as debt collectors for CashNetUSA, be prepared, they won't stop. I have been getting DAILY calls from numerous people since October 2007 from these scammers, I have been treathened, I have had one of them call me in the middle of the night from his personal phone, my husband answered and this guy started screaming at my husband threatening him, and I don't mean just threats if we don't pay we going to jail, he threatened to drive to our home. I have talked to people at CashNetUSA, they informed that several personal files had been stolen with minimal information, but enough for them to contact us and try to get money out of us, they even faxed me a letter proving I owe them NO money, but these people keep calling. Until the authorities do something and catch them, we will continue to be victimized and harrassed by these people. I have started a journal that I write every number they call me from. I have caller ID, so if I recognize the number I don't answer, if I don't I answer and as soon I realize it is them I hang up, I don't even answer their questions when they try to get me to verify who I am, I say nothing but 'hello' and I can tell instantly who they are by what they say. So just hang up on them and start keeping a log of the numbers.

I wish a legit attorney would step forward and help all of us who have been victimized by these people who help open up a class action suit for all the torment we have to endure. We should not have to live with this. I have had to deal with this for over 4yrs now, enough is enough. Something needs to be done.

now they are using the phone number of  1-310-693-2420 and the caller has a very strong indian or arabic accent. they are deffinately scammers if you have caller id and see this number watch what you say they are frecording the call as they they talk to you

The number that keeps calling me is 443 203 5220. Each time they call they leave a voicemail saying they have a case number, but each time its a different  case number. What do I do!!!???

These doucebags have been on me for the last year. I crack up laughing at their ridiculous Indian.Pakistani accent although some of these guys sound like they're from the Phillipenes. I like the fake names they use which are designed to sound completely American. I wish they would go away but they never seem to disappear!

I called the FBI and they told me their is nothing they can do. It's out of the country. It's a scam.

This number has called me several times, each time a different name- first time there was a woman who read some script about being granted a USA government grant. Then I had to call this alex white 646-810-8677....Then if you don't call they call you. They have called for two weeks now- this last time it was said that I had a federal warrant out for my arrest and that the local police would be called. If I paid them an activation fee of $189 the warrant would be canceled. These guys are full of crap. And you cannot understand a word they are trying to say!

I receive calls every day what is so strange changed my home number to  non published now he calls my cell this is so wrong someone needs to look into this he calls from different numbers .214-443-1390 or 817-404-5661 or 206400-6863 with a terrible accent  he tries to change his voice and use different names but, I am smarter than this fool. Please do not entertain the call hang up do not verify any information as we all know this is not the way any collection company do you always receive information in the mail not from some threating to have you served within 24 hrs. DUE PROCESS! They think we are too dumb to know what that is! Scammers plain and simple. Don't fall for this crap! Just tell your employer about this and don't give it another thought! They keep identifying themselves as Officer or Attorney thus and such. If they wanted to make it look even more official, you'd think they'd send you a phony court document or phony attorney letter. Guess it would be too easy to trace them.

I've also been harrassed and threaten that if I dont pay my bill I will be sued...  Me thinking what do I have 2 lose????...  N guess what now that they have harrassed me my turn 2 return the favor...  The number will be disconnected soon.....  


Hi I was just wondering now that we have all figured out that this is a scam, how can we actually bring forward charges against these people??... I talked to a police friend of mines and he stated to call the bank and ask for the fraud department and let them investigate the company or give them the phone numbers of the caller let them investigate it...

What is the common factor in this scam?

It  is a way that they recieved the information on us... I am guessing online education consumer pop-ups or a job website pop-up...  The calls are being swithched in if you listen when returning the calls back so we known that its international or  either underground... And also illegal how they obtained our information..  But think about it??...   I am going 2 try 2 involve the local government around my area...  N the meantime continue 2 LIVE and NJOY life...

Just got the same threatening phone call from (877) 848-4138, so I guess they have a new phone number to call out from now. BE WARNED!!

Office Stanley Wilson/Shawn Woods SCAM ARTISTS.  These people just keep on calling me.  I think I reported them last month but I'm not sure if these are the same folks.  They seem to multiply and call from all over the place.  A few years back I defaulted on a few payday loans.  I took care of the matter and currently, I have multiple payday loans out at the same time.  I admit it wasn't a very smart thing to do but, I am paying them.  I have not defaulted on any of them.  These people keep calling me, saying they have all my personal information.  They say a federal juge has issued a complaint against my social security number and I will be arrested.  When I questioned them about the particulars, what company, how much I owe, where they are calling from etc.  I was yelled at in a most unprofessional manner.  I even pretended that I was having the call traced but they just keep calling.  Each time the call it is a little unsettling.  The first time they called it literally ran my blood pressure up.  I mean they threatened to arrest me on my job.  The company they claimed I owed and defaulted on, I currently have a loan out with them that is about to be paid off.  Is there any way we can stop these folks from calling.
