Call Department of Law and investigation.

Keep getting calls from these people.  They keep saying my friend put me down as a reference and that she is in "BIG TROUBLE" and to have her call me.  I started getting calls from them about 5 months ago.  Then it stopped and now they are back!  Used to be from another phone number and now this one.  Changing my phone number is not an option.
Any ideas?

"Lloyd" called my cell about 5 times this week, before finally calling my work. After i cursed him out and told him that it was so obvious to me that he was a fraud, he hung up on me, but he has called back 5 times just today.  It is so scary that these people can access your info when you apply for a loan or order something off the net. Does anyone know how to get them to stop? They are not even real debt collectors.  I wouldnt be as pissed off if i actually owed someone something!

well guys and gals who post all those reports i'm reading - he"s back as officer johnthan loyd from the same dept , but this time he is using  the 347 area code which is from bayside newyork- queens county_ first time he got me into thinking this was legit cause i do have a payday loan out but the heavy accent and the call center noise background i hung up he called right back and angry  and told me not to do  that again so i said give your number and i will call u back when i get more info on this - he did and said don't take to long cause the lawsuit will be 5-6 thousand dollars if we don't settle it now for 410.00- never called him bac but he did today 2-3 weeks from last call so i call the loan company and they said the are aware of it and it's a scam_ oh here is his new number 347 321 9061

call from 303-578-5558 at work for my son who is out on comp from this office. heavy accent claiming to be jonathan lloyd from dept of law investigations calling from colorado- says its very urgent that bob (my son ) contact him...i tried to find this dept online and got this fraud site... my son will not be getting the message to call this idiot

I would love to track down an actual name and address. And mess with this jack*** in every way I can...

this same idiotic fool called again today for my daughter in law..the man actually yelled at me to shut up..he kept calling repeatedly for about 10 minutes over and over and i would pick up phone and set back on hook just to mess with him...he even left a message today and said my daughter in law would be picked up within 48 hours...omg..i picked it up once and said i will play all day...it is beginning to make me mad that such an idiot would really believe Americans from this country would believe that anyone with that accent would be allowed to be in law...you can't hardly understand him and i think he is reading this ...message or whatever..lol

this man with an accent that had a name that sounded like redmuffin left a message for my daughter in law and said she had a serious legal issue against her..someone had filed a serious case against her..he was from Dept of Law/Investigation..well, I typed phone number in search engine and that's how I found this website..I immediately called him and asked him a question or two..he faltered in his answer..I told him what a croc of %k#4% he was and where to go get ^%%3@%^6d...so, I feel better

got a fake phone call. try doing the same thing the guys name is jonathan loyd saying he was a officer from law investgation. i got them in there own lie.i calld the police on them. if u read this reprot them right away and try to sue them an there al from pakistan trying to be like if there from american shame on them .they say there from new york

Keep getting the same thing, this time from "Officer Henry Clark" with an accent so heavy you can hardly understand him. I get these about every three or four months.  First time was from the Federal Investigation Bureau,  now it's the same place listed above. I've had the police call the numbers and then they stop for a while, but here we go again...

I have received 3 phone calls from this "Office of Law & Investgations" on my caller ID, one last week
and two this week.  Each time it sounds like the same guy form Pakistan or India, can't speak english
very well. He always says to not ignore this call, I am in big trouble if I do & will need to get an attorney.
The first call was someone named Rick, the 3rd call was from a Max Watson both times it sounded like
the same guy.  A Pakistan named "Max Watson" ?!!  I am reporting them & the phone numbers to the
local police, FBI, and Attorney Generals Officer per the advice of an Attorney.  Has anyone had any luck getting rid of these people?  To the post from David: Did you have any luvk getting rid of them?

Just got a call from an officer Sam Johnson, same accent, called from phone number 631-481-7758 and gave a badge number of 12854.  Just as the post before me, the information was the same exactly the same. FRAUD BIG TIME MUST BE SOMETHING WE CAN DO BOUT THESE PEOPLE.

As usual Jack Dawson called my work. good luck being a fake person in life.

Got a call on my work phone voice mail - could hardly understand what the caller was saying, VERY heavy accent but he kept  repeating that I was in "big trouble."  What the heck is this about?

Called said I was being sued for a payday loan....I have never gotten a payday loan REPORT

This Pakistani/Indian guy called me today, his alias was 'Matt Gibson'. He also said he was with the Dept of Law & Investigation.....Myself having almost 8yrs of collection experience, decided to have some fun with this guy so I called his bluff.. I told him there is no such thing as the U.S. Dept of Law and Investigation..He response to me was "how do you know?" ..I responded back by saying: "first off i'm from America and its obvious that you arent, and second, you must think i'm as dumb as you sound too!  Then when I called him out on his fake name and told him I used to be a debt collector he immediately froze up and said 'have a nice day' and hung up...What an amateur!

Folks,  dont let these guys scare you! Next time you get a call from them get their info and do a little research on the internet and you will quickly find out their game!!

Got a call from this number and the guy said his name was officer sam johnson.He called my job trying to put fear in me saying he wanted to talk to my boss. I tried to call the number back didnt get anyone, the recorder said I have reached a number that the person may be out of the coverage area or unavailable..Then when I did get someone, they made like there was no person by that name there at the time so call back in so many minutes. When I said no I want to talk to someone now they  hung up on me. But  the conversation was like they had me on a echo type of phone I could hear myself repeating what I was saying
