Unfortunately I believe he is still at it. Michael Lawson, US Marine. Told me he was in Afghanistan, now supposed to be in Australia. Supposed to be retiring in 3 months. Also has me emailing his son, John. He has not asked for any bank information as of yet. Told me he lives in New York. The number he is using belongs to an unlisted number out of Kansas City, Kansas. Completely convincing story.... widower raising his so alone. Retiring from the military soon and wants to start a new life with the love of his life.

I just was contacted by a Michael Lawson in the marines but supposedly in Afghanistan... different phone number. Think its probably the same guy, same thing?

He did the same thing to me. Met the same way, even had me emailing his "son". When I wouldn't let him have my account number he told me that I needed to open up an account at USAA and he would have his "agent" transfer money in there and I would need to send it to him via Western Union. When my account was blocked due to fraudulant activity...I never heard from him again. What a scum bag.

The Guy who is using this number has scammed a lot of ppl from what I have red. He claims that he is Michael Lawson from the US MARINES on a mission in Africa. I met him on Date Hookup bout a year ago. We been in contact for over a year we text 2-3 times a day. He had me believing him up until yesterday when my bank account was closed do to him trying to launder money through me. Well I got news for him, he's not going to like what is in store for him. So if this has happened to anyone else out there, please contact me and if you are willing I'm sure the police would like to hear your story also.
