Got the same call this morning from the same number 7988000. Its probably call center agent hoping that i will apply for credit card. Its their job, at least they are doing a decent job, rather than being a burden to the country.

Just politely tell them you're not interested.

I have a missed call from 7988000, i tried to call back but the number is invalid.  

this number has been calling me since yesterday. wasn't able to answer the call. i call them back, but according to the operator this number is incorrect or not yet used.

this number has been calling me for months. looking for certain names of people i do not know. claiming to be from east west bank. i have no account with east west bank and no pending application with them whatsoever. and because of this i will NEVER apply a credit card/open an account from/with them! i have tried several times to tell them both politely and otherwise (my patience is running thin), to remove my number from their database but to no avail. i still get calls from them 3 months after. can this telemarketing office please be shut down??!!
