Person didn't talk to me, kind of like they weren't expecting any one to answer and then they hung up. Kind of weird.

Bogus call. Acting as though we've done business before with me concerning a lower interest rate for a credit card. Go away.

Someone called from this number while I was at work so I din't answer it. No voicemail was left but when I got a chance to call back it said the number was disconnected and no longer in service. However, this recording sounded unusually garbled and sounds as if there are people talking in the background. To me it sounds like something somebody recorded. Definitely wierd to say the least. I see a lot of Colorados on here, I wonder if they're targeting CO specifically?

I received a call about two hours ago it was a man's voice he just said hello and hung up.I have a unlisted phone # not sure how he got it.

Same thing, I didn't answer and he didn't leave a message. I called back and it said that the number was disconnected.

Called, I didn't answer, he left a message saying that he could lower my interest rates to as low as 1.5%. He said this was the last courtesy call, and that we have talked on the phone before. 1st of all, I have never seen this number ever before, nor have I talked to anyone about lowering my rates. 2nd of all, I just payed off all my credit cards and debt, period. So I know that this is 100% bogus. If you get a call from this number don't answer. There's a lot of scams going around. Some all you have to do is answer the phone and they automatically charge you a lump sum of money even though you never agree to anything. Be careful. You can go to donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222 to register your phone on the National Do Not Call List and should help with these phone calls. I called today.

Phone rings, I pick up and say "hello".  Long pause.  I say "hello" again, He answers and says "hello", I ask who are you please.  Short pause and he hangs up.

Got a random call and the guy sounded surprised anyone answered... this was my cell phone... must be a pirated phone or maybe not even really a phone at all that hes using... probably some crazy inmate somewhere... freaked me out...my number is unlisted for a reason.

Answered call on my cell phone from this number, really bad reception, someone said "uh, hello" on the other end. I said hello and waited for another response, phone went silent and disconnected after 10 seconds. Within a short time my wife received a call on her cell also from this number and let it go to voicemail. Her message said it was Brian calling back about lowering her interest rate after their phone discussion last week. Hmmm, its a bit funny, as we have no credit cards and have never talked to this guy before. Scam alert!

yeah...its a spam call. I had the same thing happen. Got a call, answered, it disconnected, I redialed and got a message saying "this number has been disconnected"...

Called wife's cell, then called my cell five minutes later.  "uh Hi" sounded like a computer voice.  I googled this number and saw these posts before the call went to my phone.  So I answered, "Hi Brian Stevens"  Not sure that will help.

some guy called said hi.  i get terrible reception so i tried to call teh guy again and he didn't respond

I got the same call, just hello like they were surprised I answered and then finally disconnected.  I blocked the number on my cell phone.

These people need to be stopped this is not the first time this has happened and its never the same person twice, but its the same spiel(sp) every time...same as Anna, and Teri....wonder what we can do about it other then this?

Got this same call on my cell today, claims to lower interest rates, he said he spoke to me last week. I had no such call. Just now my husband called me and got a call from this same number on his cell.The nunber he left to call back was 888-442-0881. Becareful people he is everywhere.

got a call from them feb 18 2010 11:23am. same as above "ah hi!" and hung up. called 1888 number listed above. they say debt relieve and refuse to tell where the phone is located. called there number back auto notice that number is no longer in service.

reported to FBI. lets see what happens next.

I was on another call when this caller came in.  Because I did not recognize the number, I did not interupt my other conversation; I used Google to search and saw the 636-255-1402 in the 800 Notes site.  Enough time used and enough said.

Same as everybody else. Broken voice and I hung up.

Just got a call from this number.  After I said hello twice I heard the "uh hi".  I hung up after saying hello again and getting no response.

Same BS as above: I answered the call, some idiot sounded surprised and reluctantly said hello and nothing else. The call automatically disconnected after 15 sec.
Returning the call yielded a lame recording of the "you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service ..." It's obviously faked.
These people are the reason the gene pool needs chlorine! How annoying.

The "Uh hi" that everyone is hearing is part of the recording - that's why you never heard anything else!  Since we are a health care oganization, I just had our IT group block this number since the calls (5x's this morning) are more than annoying (keep putting callers on hold to answer this incoming line).  There outta be a law!!
