just got a call from this number A PERSON asked for a 'bogus' name and I said wrong number and they hung up.  on my Caller ID  the name CHARTER was on with the phone number.  The only reason I answered it was because that is the name of the cable tv company I use.  It was NOT the cable company however.  This make two different scammer calls within a half hour of each other today. different number though.  This crap SUX!!! I am on a NO CALL LIST.  Guess I will have to turn the phone completely off if I want to get any sleep just hope I don't miss a call if anyone is sick or hurt BECAUSE OF LOW LIFE DIRTBAG SCAMMERS. i'm in MO.

Are you a current or former Charter customer?  If so, you might try calling them and instructing them to place you on their internal do not call list.  They are required by law to maintain such a list and comply with your request.

If you do this and they continue to call, read up on the TCPA.  You can recover $500 to $1500 PER CALL !

I hate these people (Charter).  They won't stop calling.  I have signed up on the Do Not Call List and still they keep calling.  Why can't anyone do anything about this problem?  They are calling about 3 times a day now.  I have even blocked their number on my phone, but they just don't get it, and still keep calling. They call me CONSTANTLY. Several times daily for the past few weeks. No caller ID listed and no voicemails are left.  They generally call during work hours during the day which I cannot answer phone calls, so I have no way of knowing who this is or how to return the call. I picked up just now and no one was there and they hung up after a few seconds. I am feeling HARASSED!!!

I am SO sick of this number calling me. Pick up - no one's there. Never leaves a voice mail.

I've been called by this number about a dozen times in the last week and no one is ever there.

Calls 4-5 times daily and no one ever talks or leaves a message. Caller ID says "Charter"

I have recieved 6 calls from this number in one day, they have been calling for two weeks at least 3 times a day and they never leave a message. When I answer there is no one there. I only have 200 minutes a month on my phone and they are wasting them. They also have woken my son up from his nap and then not say anything when I repeat hello three times and hang up. This is ridiculus.

This is Charter Communications.  If you call the number back you get the Charter recording.

Has called my cell several times a day for the past 10 days. No one on the other end or it hangs up almost immediately after I answer. Added it to my blocked caller list. I believe what everyone else is saying about it being Charter is correct. They call at least once a month about upgrading my service even though I tell them every time I'm not interested. I really wish there was a way to keep them from calling me.

Charter Communications trying to sell more services. They call several times a day. I told them to put me on their "Do Not Call List", the person on the other end of the phone said that I was an existing customer so they could call me any time, the DNC list didn't apply. I told her that I wasn't interested and hung up. The following morning (5:02 AM) they called me aqain!  I called them and raised hell with them. They said it would take up to 20 days to put me on there DNC list. Charter is terrible anyway, going to switch to satellite TV this week.

Called me twice today.  I did not answer because I don' know anybody in St. Charles, MO.  Did not leave messages.  Then I found this listing and reported it.

Ok I actually READ the other complaints and I'd just report the number over and over again the more it calls. If you have Verizon, block it. Just FYI I know Charter does call for telemarketing or asking for surveys but like the others have said even when I called back nobody answered and they wanted information from me. I hung up. BEWARE.

This number calls my phone twice  day. My number is private, so I called it back using *67, and it's CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS calling, even though I already told them numerous times to get rid of my number and do not send or call me for offers or spam, yet they STILL DO IT. Unbelievable. I have Charter internet, and made it clear before to quit getting calls or offers for anything more. If you see the number call you again report it. Hopefully somebody will do something about it because Charter shouldn't be pestering good customers like myself for no reason, over and over again.

I got a call from this number today. They ask for me or my husband I said I was she and he hung up.

PLEASE, PLEASE stop calling my phone numerous times a day and not answering when I pick up the phone.  If it continues I will cancel my Charter service all together and find a different company for cable tv.

This number had been calling my home phone about 1-2 times everyday for the past few weeks. After so long I began answering the calls and each time nobody would respond. When I called it back a woman answered and said it was Charter and that this phone number doesn't make outbound calls. However, when I called the REAL charter phone number, they said that number isn't in there system. I haven't received any calls since the day I called it back. Definitely a scam in my opinion.
