Thank you, they almost got me. I thought this sounded a little too unusual. You saved me from driving 40 minutes to their location.

I responded to a posting on Craigslist for an Office/Sales Manager position.  The duties listed for this job position included:

Answering phones
Managing a small crew
Taking applications
Must have basic knowledge of computer and internet

There was no job description.  I received the following E-Mail the day after I responded to their ad, which did not include a company name.  It read:

Thanks for your interest. We will be conducting interviews today between 11:00 and 3:00 P.M. We would like to meet with you. I will give you a call to set up an interview time or you can call today after 9:00 A.M. to schedule an appointment. The interview will only take about 5-10 minutes. I would also ask that you bring a hard copy of your resume if you have one and please be on time to your appointment given the amount of applicants that have been responding. The interview would be at our Bridgeton location off of St. Charles Rock and 270.

I look forward to meeting you!

This job does not sound on the up and up to me.  If I have a hard copy of my resume?  The ad and E-Mail response to my inquiry is too vague.

Did you go to an interview? Didn't the ad on craigslist tell you what you'd be doing?

How did you find out about the company being a scam?

This number is from a scam company named Five Star and they are a "wholesale fragrance company"-but  they are a pyramid scheme connected with Larry Hahn and Scentura Creations. I responded to an ad on Craigslist for an Office Manager and was contacted by Jaime, who spoke very fast and didn't tell me what exactly I'd be doing. Don't waste your time with these people.
