SAME here. do i trust or  no ?

Received a text from this phone number (1-646-543-5214) asking to pay from NY to my paypal account.  The dess is only $30 and they wanted to pay $200 so I could ship it to Africa.

DO NOT, AND I MEAN DO NOT!! Trust this number, the same person contacted me through text, about my prom dress on craigslist. The dress was up  for $180, and they also offered $200 to ship from where I live in Virginia, to Nigeria as a NY gift. I am new to Paypal, so I thought every thing was real. They sent me fake Paypal emails, one in which stated that I needed to provide a reference/tracking number to have the funds deposited. After I had shipped the dress.... the money was still not deposited after 24 hours. It was after I looked through the forums on Paypal that I discovered I was scammed. You CANNOT do a package intercept with international shipping, so.. some do***ebag in Nigeria just got a prom dress for free.... Then contacted me today with another fake Paypal email, stating that I needed to send another $420 dollars over Customs in Nigeria. And They are STILL trying to contact me. They also contacted me off of 347-901-9834. BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER!!

This person offered to buy a dress from me off of Craigslist, offering $200 more than the asking price to cover shipping to Africa. I told them I accepted cash and paypal only. He/she was ok with that. Even sent me the email address: wilsontari23@gmail.com for me to send him a paypal invoice. That's where I started researching the number and stopped the so called transaction. Isn't there anything that can be done for these scammers?

Tried to purchase a prom dress off of craigslist offered $200 more than I was asking. And would pay through paypal account. AVOID!

They just tried to purchase a prom dress from us.  Not interested.  LOL

offered to pay 150 in addition to selling price of my wedding dress if i shipped to africa. said they couldnt because they were out of town in new york for buisness

This guy offered me 200$ more than my asking price for an item on Kijiji, then wanted it shipped to Nigeria, again he offered to pay through paypal but paypal informed me that the email address he was trying to use is not a registered paypal user. AVOID this person!!!!!!!

Had an item on line offered more than I was asking..can't the police trace his number and lock him up??

SCAMMER!! Wanted to buy some tennis shoes on Craigslist, offered me more than what I was asking, and then offered to pay thru Paypal. AVOID!!!! Wish I could "SHOW" them my assault rifle!!!!!!

Tryed to purchase some shoes I had on craigslist and offered to 500 for a 100 dollar pair of shoes hope this guy or girl gets caught...

i had my playstation listed and they text me asking if it was still available, lucjy me cant text them back due to the long distance.

Same happened to me, I cancelled the money request before anything happened. What kind of Paypal information would he be looking for?

Same number contacted me through ad I posted on Kijiji. It's a scam for your paypal information.

This number contacted me responding to an ad I have on kijiji, they want me to send my listed item to Western Africa, saying they would pay by paypal and would give me $100.00 more then I was asking

This is a scammer, trying to rip you off on Craigslist.
