John: Welcome to Microsoft Customer Service Chat, Ilya. Kindly give me a moment to review your question. Would that be alright?

Some guy named Tom calls me and asks me if i have a windows computer at home, and tells me that he is from Microsoft backend and that my computer send him an error appplication and he wants to fix it? is this a scam?
ilya: yea
John: Thank you for waiting.
John: I understand that you have received a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be a Microsoft Technical Support professional who states they are calling to fix your computer.
ilya: yesw
John: I appreciate you taking the time to report this to Microsoft.
John: Did the caller take control of your computer and have you provided confidential information?
ilya: no
John: Good to know that.
ilya: I'm at work and told him to call me back in 10 minutes but its been like 30 minutes no call return.
John: The phone call that you received is a hoax call.
John: Microsoft does not call consumers to offer technical assistance and force you to allow remote access on your computer.
ilya: What's hoax? and okay so if they call back I'll ignore them...
John: You can ignore them.
John: Please hang up the call.
John: Please note that Microsoft has been doing a lot of plans to combat these fraudulent callers.
John: While Microsoft is doing their best to eradicate them, the best thing that you can contribute now is to disregard unsolicited phone calls to avoid compromising your computer's information as well as your personal information.

I got a call from 646 564 5653 and they helped me fix my computer problems for just $25. The technicians were really polite and had a very high degree of technical knowledge. These technicians helped me fix a problem which Dell could not fix.

Just received a phone call from "Tom" saying they were from a "back end" of microsoft and that my computer sent them an application error...He wanted me to go into my event log and proceed with steps to fix it...I asked him which computer it came from? I have several different operating systems and at first he couldn't answer and I said he should have that info if it sent him the message...first he said he was from Microsoft, then after I said Microsoft should have my information he said, the "back end" of microsoft...my goodness. Anyway, I told him to email me steps to take and he asked for my email...umm, I told him they should have that also. I bluntly told him this had to be a scam, but he insisted I turn on my computer and he would help me...I told him I would call him back when I had time, then googled this phone number and here I am...I did call back and asked for "Tom", but he had left the building for the day, so I told the other "Tom" to please not call me again, and shame on them for trying to scam me...I told them to google search their phone number and see what pops up?

I received an "urgent message" code. The message was in heavily accented English. I couldn't understand what he was saying, but maybe "if... is not working... please call us back...." The background noise sounded like a call center.
