Telemarketer from TD credit card, tried to sell me some kind of account holder alert protection, supposedly against identify theft, to which I said no. The guy was quit polite.

I keep getting the same number calling me every day. Very annoying of course. I now pick up the receiver and immediately press and hold for 30 secs the Pound sign key.... it makes a screaming noise in their ear. Too bad, so sad. Just keep pressing it down. Press any number and hold. If someone is on the other end it will make their day about as bad as yours is when you keep running to the phone. Seniors don' run well, but have to pick up the phone, in case of emergency or doctor, or relative. So fight back... press and hold!

We've been getting a phone call everyday from this number. I never answer the phone and when it goes to the machine, they don't leave a message. I tried to search 411 through the reverse phone but the number is unknown. Now that I see from reading the comments that it's a scam artist, I definitely won't pick up.

I receive at least five calls a day from this number, the caller never leaves a message however calls throughout the day at any given time.  Wish they would not stop calling. 647-495-8030.

They will not stop calling. Very very annoying. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. Call several times a day at odd times.

I get a phone call from this number EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. When I hear my phone ringing I don't even have to guess who it is. They never leave a message and call during business hours. I finally got fed up and googled the number. I feel like I want to answer, yell insanely about how I'm  a student with zero money anyway, and listen to them cry.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THESE POSTS!!! I have been getting hounded by these people everyday for almost two weeks. They always call during business hours when i'm at work and they never leave a voicemail. I finally picked up while at my office today and told them to take me off their list.... basically called them out on their scam and hung up. Hoping that's the end of it!

They call me several times a morning....I answer and the phone-bot says nothing....as I pay for my calls I don't wait to even hear the phone-bot...a real person is not there...I just don't answer these calls anymore and a message is never left....

Keep calling. At least once a day at different times, sometimes during the night.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

The number is from Eqinox, a credit report company. Our banks sell our contact info to these people. We need to let our banks know they make enough money from services charges, interest charges and mortgages to be selling lists.

This number has been calling everyday 3 times a day! Im so annoyed! Glad I read all this! Never have answered and never will!

We also received calls from this number about twice a day. I'm fed up. No  message is left on our  answering machine. They say they are from the royal bank of  Canada. Do not answer I was told you may get charged long distance for answering.  

Calls at least three times a day. Really annoying. How can we stop the caller of this line?

Repeated calls from this number, callers do not leave a message. I called the number, it went to an Equinox answering service.

Want them to stop calling me.  It's been going on for years now.  I don't answer any more.  This is annoying. They stop for a while then start back up again. What the hell?

I was also receiving calls from them. I decided to call back and there was an automated message saying they are Equifax. They give you an option to press 1 to be added to their do not call list and after that you press 2 for english then they ask you to put in your phone number. After you do that it hangs up. That should stop the calls.

Classic scammer, asking you for your credit card number and other info to offer you insurance or other services.

Said ''hello my beautiful *My full name*, i paused and said whos this??? and they said" we are calling on behalf of Td credit ---"and then they hung up! =O how did they get my full name???? and my number >.> this is creepy...thanks for posting everyone....epically after watching identity thief, IM CREEPED OUT.... O.o  They r trying to get credit info to use ur credit card, and put u into debt... DO NOT ANSWER, DO NOT CALL BACK, SCAM.

I get a call every single day and when I do answer it, no one responds. They never leave a voice message either. Also if it helps, I'm on a Bell cell phone...

Just got a call from them. Picked up right away, said "hello?" twice and they hanged up. Hope they don't call again

They called and claimed to be from some company (I didn't catch the name) selling ID protection for TD Visa. If you call the number back you'll get an automated message explaining that the company is a marketing company on behalf of banks and other businesses, called Equinox. If you listen to the end there is an option in which you can remove your number from their calling list. I recommend not giving out information to this company, and visiting your local TD branch to inquire about protection plans and insurance for your debit/credit cards.

The person managed to know my full name and asked me to provide the past 7 years of financial history. The background was noisy that just like calling from outdoor.

I just called TD myself, the toll free on the card.  TD stated that its a 3rd party selling a credit score report for $20 a month (1st month free).  I gave them the 647 number.  So its one of their 3rd party partners that is allowed access to certain info when you sign up.

This number called my phone 5 times in a week- left no vm- I sent them a txt telling them to not contact me anymore thanks to this site :) hope it works because they are very annoying. If this is happening to so many people they should be investigated and stopped.

Got many calls from this number. No message ever left. Thanks to this site and other people reporting, I know it's nobody I want to talk to.
