Today is 07/17/2012 I just received a message from a man saying that his name was Officer John Foster with a foreign accent.He told me that he was calling from the Crime Investigation Bureau and that he was calling to notify me about a illegal cash prize which has been received against my name and social security number.He told me I was under state investigation and is on hold with U.S gov. for federal investigation.He left a number known as 1 (717) -610 -4731 saying that if he did not hear from my site than unfortunately he would have to start his legal investigation in which we agreed.He then threatened to have to show up at my place of employment or at my place of residence.I had no idea of what he was talking about.I proceeded to to contact this number back and an officer Mark answered the phone at first.I explained my reason for calling and he told me I was under investigation and that I had three charges pending against me, also that was being sued .I said for what and he said if you let me talk I will tell you in a real nasty tone.So I said who you hollering at and the phone hung up.The next thing I know the phone rings again and officer Mark said why you hang up on me.I said I didn't hang up on you you hung up on me.The phone hangs up again.I call back and Officer John Foster supposedly is now on the phone sounding totally different from the message he left for me to contact him back.I told who ever was playing games on the phone pretending to be this Officer Foster that I don't know what in the hell he is talking about and tell me whats going on.No response just a bunch of unneccessary questions like do I know anything about a debit card and have I ever been to jail before.I was like what in the hell is this.I told him I have never received any money in my account and I don't know what he was talking about.Foster started hollering and told me I was going to be arrested I am like for what I have not done anything.The phone hangs up again and then calls back within a couple of seconds and I told him if he continued to call then I would sue him for harrasment.There were little numbers on the top of the 1 717 610 4731 the first time was (3011)and then the second time was (3002) and all the other times were (3011).Also there was a lot of people talking in the background also talking to people on phones.Was also told that he had the routing number to my bank PNC and gave me my last four digits of my social security number as well.Concerned and want to know what is going on .

my social security number is under.state investigation and they wanted to know if I had an attorny and.if I did what was there information I asked more info they hung up

I have been getting the say scam at my job and on my cell trying to say that I am under state investigation and going to jail for fraud and they can put me away for a long time. I wondered what I  had done. Thanks for you comments it has helped me alot.

This person Jay Walker has said I am under state investigation along with my social security number and that I committed fraud to put me in jail. He also called me several times at my job and then when I called to ask to speak to the attorney they said I had to repeat my social security numgber again.  Please help me out.

These guys have been calling me for quite a while now. I filled out an online app. for a payday loan and got scammed by them once.  They threatened me with all kinds of legal action and I gave them my cc number. Dumb I know, but it sounded legit at the time. I thought I was paying a payday loan off that I did owe.  When the payday loan company called me they told me it is called the "Indian Scam" our local police were no help but I did file a complaint with the FCC, Attorney General and another agency that handles these type of things.
They do change the names of where they are calling and their names but the script is generally always the same.

I then called my state attorney general fraud office and filed a complaint against them. I suggest you do the same. It can be done on line and keep after them to get more info.

Same thing here, threat of fraud lawsuit. Would not tell me about what or who AND then asked if I knew a fellow co-worker and if I would give him a message!  I said sure, he gave me the number and names. This morning, I called him about 20 times and he keep hanging up on me but, what I told him was, "I want a paper, copy of where I am named in the suit and how". Again, no can do. That is when I let go on him and he hung up. I called back and he kept hanging up on me so I waited 10 mins., and called back! This time I told him FIRMLY, that he had 7 days to get the paper to me, no more then that. I was suing him and his firm for threating me and harrassing me! 7 DAYS!!! Or he gets more of the same of my calls, all day and night if it takes it and it will be added to the suit! My attorney wants the paper to see where they got my WORK cell number from and WHY they treated me like that.  I then called my state attorney general fraud office and filed a complaint against them. I suggest you do the same.

First a few UNKNOWN caller IDs appeared on my cell phone which I disregarded.  Then they called my office number and now this number appears.  They did leave a message.  Same thick Indian accent, requiring a call back or I would be sued.  So I call back and he asks for my name, which I did not provide but I demanded why he is calling and from what company.  At which point he hung up.  BTW, I heard a lot of voices in the background, sounds like a telemarketing call center.  I know, I used to help manage and worked with a legitimate contact center for software tech support and that's exactly what it sounds like in the background when a lot of reps are talking to customers.  Located here in the East Coast, how do I report this to the police in Palo Alto, CA?  Can't call 911 for local emergencies, should a local precinct be contacted in the 650 area code?

This Ryan Robinson (not his real name) called me, too. He is an Indian Male...when I said the word "scam" he hung up. I called back and he read off my social and said he had all my information and was going to kill me if I called back and called me a B***H

I received the same call. telling me I have to pay 8000 in court fees plus the loan. I called my loan office and they said it was a scam.

I keep getting calls from this person stating the same thing he said his name was Jade Walker and stated my whole ss# over the phone and stated  i can get fired so im thinking should i go to the cops bc this is crazy McKinney Law firm is what he said

hey they have called me 2 times sayin that i will have a worret if i didnt call back they goin to call my job they have my personal info i call them back i ask to speck to a jay walker this person has said they ara gone for the day but i here people in the back ground i ask to speck to a hire person some on got on the fone and act like they had the wrong person but they read out my ss number they hung up i called back and the they was act like they were asleep i call the police they gave me this web to go on and see wat goin on

I recieved 3 messages from Jade Wallker telling me i was under state investigation and to call back or have my attorney call. He also said he wanted to wish me luck if i did not return call and things unfold badly on me. Don't you think that if you are under state investigation that you would recieve something in the mail stating this?  Not sure what to do......

got this call too. Some guy with a heavy accent as well. English name. I honestly did not understand a thing he said. Just that it was a time sensitve and attorney. Spam. If im being suded wouldnt I get something in the mail?

Indian voice on phone. Told me some Law Firm. Could not understand him. I could understand, it would end badly if I did't call back. Needless to say I did not call back.

I just received a voicemail on my office phone from this number.  Same scenario as the others----guy speaking in a very thick accent left a threatening message saying that my name & SSN were under investigation by the government (but mentioned a lawsuit as well).  Also advised that me or my attorney needs to call him as soon as i got the message.

same number called me, I tried to get information from them, they would not tell me anything, just that I was being sued and I need an attorney, I asked what I was being sued for and they would not say, just have your attorney contact us.  I was told the same thing when I asked for this Ryan person, the guy on the phone said he was security and to call in the morning.  I am going to call them back in the morning and tell them the same thing you said...

This "Ryan Robinson" called my work and told them I was being sued and that I had better call him as soon as possible. He also left a threatening voice mail on my cell phone. When I called back an English guy answered the phone and refused to put me through to Ryan Robinson (who is Indian or middle eastern). The English guy said he was just 'security' and could I call back in the morning. I informed him it was illegal to call my work disclosing who he was and why he was calling and that I would be pressing charges. I then looked up this number on google and found out it was a scam. So I called back and the phone automatically beeped, no message or anything regarding a "law firm" that it supposedly is. I told him what he did was illegal. He was not allowed to call my work or my cell phone again and if he needed to correspond with me he could write. If he calls again I am reporting him to the police. Hope you do the same.

I got calls from this number and a 213 number they call my work and my cell number.  It is scary they have all my personal information some how.

i just got the same call from a guy named"ryan robinson", who spoke broken english, probably middle eastern. Said that i was being indicted by the federal government for electronic wire transfer and deception. when i told him i never received money from Cash Advance out of Los Angeles and he was full of it he threatened to send the authorities to my house if i would give him my address. Ya right. i was scammed by this same company for 180 in fees to get a loan online and never received it. Do not let them get you for any money up front. The other number they called from was 213-438-9785, and today it was from 650-452-6236.

I got a call from this number threatening that I will go to court or to jail because of a defaulted loan, which I know nothing about and also said that I will have criminal charges pressed against me. I called the number back over the weekend and it had no recording or anything it just beep like it was someones cell phone. The guy said his name was Ryan Robinson, but it was a foreigner.
