Me too, it's yesterday, an Indian female voice and I couldn't hear clearly the whole conversation so I cannot understand the purpose of the call. I heard something about HP, technical supporter and software requirement.

a call identifying themselves as HP customer service, calling to get my credit card information for the streamyx netbook HP mini package that i have signed up 2 weeks ago. Correctly verifying all my personal info i during signing up. Hope not a fraud. :@ coz already given the cc info!

No, it's HP. But if in doubt, call HP number in your country and get redirected..
