I got the call last night around 10 I guess, I fell asleep early and didn't wake up from the call I thought it was a wrong number from 702 to A 720 number until I looked it up. No voicemail left either.

Received several calls to my cell phone from this number on a daily basis. Getting very annoying. Luckily, no information was given to the caller..
Looking at all these complaints, I would suggest to notify your local attorney generals and hope that they launch an investigation on the owner of this number.
Also, many local "consumer reporters" from local TV stations would love hear about this!

Got a "missed call" from this 702-520-1368 # today. No VM message left; won't answer if they call back! How do we report them?
Colorado Victim 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
Yes, a scam. Get this, My phone is a prepaid tracfone that I've had since Feb. 08. I dont even remember my number since I use it very rarely. So, I know I've never given it out to anyone other than work. Of course you get the click, this way they can't be fined for not removing you.

They Just now called my number for the first time hope they dont do it again
KM 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
They have called me 2 times and both times I didn't answer. They just called 10 min ago. I then decided to look up the number and found this site.
I just don't answer calls I don't recognize and seeing it was from Nevada and I don't know anyone from there.

Elle 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
I get this call a lot and I sold my car because gas prices are so expensive. Now I just use the bus. They need to get their facts straight. Definetly stay away from whoever these people are.
MalevolentDrummer 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
No message left on Voice Mail. When calling the number back, it states "Thank you for calling. We are sorry if we reached your number in error. We only purchase (sounds like)in-call business phone listings. If you would like your number removed from our calling list, please press 1." That is the only option.
LeggoMyCello 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
Calls are likely automated, and being performed illegally. There are laws against calling from non-specific lists of phone numbers. It's pretty clear that is what they are doing as they are hitting a lot of cell numbers.
It's also possible their phone numbers aren't legitimate. There are devices that let people 'spoof' their callerid information...put in ANY information they wish.
I've received numerous calls in the past few months from (702) 520-1xxx, where the xxx keeps changing.

A call came in to our home line we have with Vonage, at 5:40 PM, Eastern DST. We did not answer because we did not recognize the number. We had receive a bogus call over the weekend from 732-907-2113 and thought it was the same thing.

It was a dealer warranty line trying to extend my warranty I told them all three of my car's were bought in 2007 when they kept asking for the Vin number I asked them for a number I could reach them because I did not have the info in front of me, the guy said I'll call you back later "click"
Chris 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
A complete scam. I just bought an 08 this April. I got the same call saying "press 1 to take your name off the list, press 2 to speak to a rep." so I pressed 2. some woman came on kind of shouting, didn't sound professional at all. I asked "why would my warranty expire? I just BOUGHT my car." and she hung up on me. Stay away. complete scam. If I knew where to report it as such, I would.
kevin 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
I have gotten calls from this number and one from Oklahoma for months. I too have asked to be taken off their list, with only a "click" on the other end. They want your name, make and model of your car, but I never let them go beyond that. The recorded portion of the call starts something like this..."this is the second and final warning that the warranty on your car is about to expire."
issue #1 - my car warranty isnt associated with my business cell phone (which is the number they keep trying to call).
issue #2 - my car warranty has been out for several years (I have an old vehicle).
I think it is definitely a scam.

DT 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
I TALKED TO SOME ONE AND TOLD THEM TO DELETE MY CELL #,
AND HE SAID "I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE"
Frustrated! 2011-06-06 20:54:25 Unknown
Same as everyone else...."warranty services" calling my work phone, when I press 1 to speak to someone, I tell them to remove me and *CLICK* they are gone.
I have googled "warranty scams" and WOW, this is not an isolated incident!

I just called the number on our landline, and I think I got the companies name. The automated message said the companies name was "Audex" or something by that name, and it also gave me a name. The name was "Frank Benitas" or something, though it wasn't too clear.
