Received text from this number, stated Hey and my name, then when i asked who it was they asked if I had a yahoo messanger account and gave me a screen name of txtchikie16 then said "sorry fone gonna die :(" that was all I heard? SCAM?!?!?

Ya i just got a text saying "Hey Sara..." which was weird cause most people try to spell my name with an H. I asked who is this but have had no response......

Got one from this number, exact same response "If you want to know who this is, etc. etc." Goes by 'textiegirly8' on yahoo messenger. I thought the text was slightly intriguing. Thought it was an old friend, ok, maybe an old girlfriend, which as a married guy, don't have any business responding to (busted). But thought I'd see where area code 702 is since I didn't readily know anyone from that area. So, I plugged it into my search bar. And this pops up. Southern Nevada? No thank you, I'll pass. No harm done thanks to all your responses.

Got the same text. 'Hola Jeff?'  Now that I see the comments, it's obviously website spam.

Received text from 702 522 1262 "Hey Beth".  When I asked "who is this" got a response "haha if you want to know you got to add me in yahoo msngr my id is txtflirty89"   Did not respond.  No further contact so far.

I just got the same message...my nickname, which is unusual was spelled correctly...I responded with "Hey" but that was the end of the communication...

I recieved the same msg.

Someone texted me knowing my name and spelt it correctly and then when I asked who told me to get on Yahoo Messenger? Seriously? Who still uses Yahoo Messenger?
