Do some research.... Terrorist organization? Really... Grow up and quit suckling off of the government/MSM propaganda. It is a simple phone call that you can ignore/block/report. No need to go all Osama Bin Laden.

Americans For Prosperity is a Right Wing/Tea Party organization, funded by the Kock Brothers, that supports domestic terrorism and acts of violence against non-whites and non-christians.
An extremely dangerous group, whose members should all be in prison for life.

Received a call from 703-224-3200 on 06/01/2014 at 5:10 PM, caller name ID read as "Unavailable." The call as blocked by my PhoneTray Pro software because I have the entire area code of 703 on my black list. A Google search indicates that the call originated from a group called Americans For Prosperity, makes me wonder why they are hiding behind "Unavailable" on the name ID.

Get the pro call blocker. Put it on your phone line. It will block up to 1500 numbers. Be done
with these scum bags.

A recording said "I'm calling to let you know"...and then hung up. I will block the call. I still have plenty of room to do so on my call blocker.

I am already on the do not call list. Every so often, these calls start in force. I work at home and this is more than annoying.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time. Our government is WORTHLESS when it comes to blocking these calls. The only other course of action is this:
Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize. When you do all you are doing is confirming for them that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back AND sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too. If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does). If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.
Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam. It doesn't work either. Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home. If it answer then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number. Have a pleasant day. Sure am glad too for websites like this.

They are not tea party either. Don't give money to the TPP, TPN, or TPE... Give it to your local tea party. The aforementioned groups just give it to establishment GOP and consultants -- none of it ever goes to a real tea party that was formed in 2007 by Ron Paul people.
No legit tea party collects money!

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker. www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.
You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it. No monthly fees either

I never answer calls from numbers I don't know. It's my phone, I pay for it, why answer from someone I don't know? If it's important they will leave a message. So this one did and my great vonage voice-to-text gave me this: (DONT" GO TO THE WEBSITE - I can't guarantee it isn't a scam .. I wouldn't even do it. I'm just showing you the message as FYI -- if it sounds like a scam (and this one does), it probably is...

For the record: You can't run a modern country without some serious taxes & spending that may seem "reckless." Anyone who wants "minimal" government needs to visit places that have such a thing: Somalia, Sudan, & Haiti come to mind. I'd bet folks there pay virtually no taxes, & there is very little government spending. Maybe because there is little cash to pay with, & not much government to spend it.
If I could get a real person at Americans for Prosperity (instead of a mindless recording), I'd tell them that.

They just called me, around dinner time, of course. No name, so I let them talk to voice mail. Next time they call they won't have that luxury, thanks to the best money I ever spent on a phone. I brought up their number, hit "save" then "caller block." When they call back it will ring once and then be disconnected. The only problem is it's limited to 30 numbers and there are so many of those annoying callers (and, yes , I am on the National Do Not Call list, but it is useless against charities, politicians, and Police calling for donations) that I periodically have to delete one of the older ones if they haven't called in a while. The phone's a Panasonic I found at Costco, but I'm sure other brands have a similar feature.
I am listed so my friends can find me and call, not so total strangers can. I consider it an invasion of my privacy...if there is such a thing anymore.
Every time my phone rings once and I see "Caller Blocked", I smile a little.

Political calls are exempt from the national do not call registry. You have to tell them not to call you.

08-19-2013 @ 6:00 PM, 703-224-3200, UNKNOWN NAME = When call came in, wife answered it, and after listening for a few seconds, she hung up. Said it was a woman talking about lowering interest rates on credit cards. Based on an internet search, this call came from the Alexandria, Virginia, area. It appears the name of the organizatin may have changed, based on previous comments saying it was Americans for Prosperity. Nothing was mentioned in our call by that name. It's nothing but a scammer all the way. We've had several other calls from this same area with the 703 area code, but different numbers. Basically, all saying the same thing.

Americans for Prosperity aka billionaire Koch brothers. They hire lobbyists in each state for $100,000 a year to spread propoganda and lies. Watch Koch Brothers exposed. They are not a "grass roots" organization. Call their national office at 703-224-3200 and ask to be put on the Do Not Call List and to stop harassing us!
