LOTS OF CALLS, NEVER LEAVE MESSAGE.

Get to calls daily but they leave no message.  Tried calling back but phone kept ringing.  Annoying.

This number has called me 3 times this week. I don't answer any number I don't recognize, or any from out-of-state. Most of them are marketing calls, or political calls. What ever happened to DO NOT CALL???

Didn't recognize the number on caller ID so I didn't answer it. They've now called 4 times.

Was some kind of survey.  Stated it would call back later.

Calls about twice per week

Automated political poll by a company identified as "Election Research".  Appears to be legit - only asked questions about presidential and local senate race, didn't try to push anything.

Did not answer, no voice mail.

I received a call from this number.  Didn't recognize the number on the CallerID, but I do remember the call.  It was an automated survey system asking me about my voting preferences.  At least that was the first question.  I hung up.  If a company wants to do a political survey, then I was a real person on the line I can talk to.

They identify themse4lv es as as the "Federal Election COnvention" something that sounds official but isn't.  They are political pollers, I think for Mccain.  I answered the week after the Repub convention, & answered a bunch of computerized questions i.e. the computer asked for a yes or no answer & said it would hang up unless answered w/yes or no
Roughly and these:

Did I intend to vote for Obama,
did I intend to vote for McCain
did Obama's pick of Biden change my opinion
Did McCain's VP pick change my opinion etc
I can't reemember why I got Republican vibes from the line of questioning, but I've frequently be chosen for polls-it wasn't a push poll (does the fact that XX is a wife beater make it more or less likely to vote for him) but I still think it was an attempt to gauge impact of Repub convention.

NUMBER BUT NO CALLER ID.

I have received several calls to my cellphone from this number.  When I try to call back I always get a busy signal

calls 3 to 4 times a day--8:3o AM to 9:30 PM--never leaves a message--hangs up when recorder goes on--

I live in Louisiana and the number 703-263-0118 calls me 7 days a week, morning, noon and night. When I try calling the number back all I get is a busy signal. I am on the do not call list.

I just received a call from the same number. They said they were from the Louisiana Family Forum. I hung up.

Received a call from this number on my cellphone on 8/24/08 at 6:25pm.  Did not leave a voicemail.

HAVE CALLED 4 TIMES.I DON'T KNOW WHO THEY AND I WILL NOT ANSWER THE CALL,I LEAVE IT TO THE MACHINE. I AM ON DO NOT CALL REGISTRY BUT THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO FAZE THEM. I HOPE THEY ARE STOPPED SOON.

They left a voicemail saying (it was cut off at the beginning) "...a few seconds to answer some questions so we may better plan to serve you in the future.  Do you own the home at the number where I have contacted you today?"  (10 seconds pass)  "This was a message from National Grid.  We may call back later."  End of message.

National Grid is my power company, so assuming this was actually them, they haven't violated the DNC list.  But it sure sounds like this is an outdial number from a phone bank used for all kinds of annoying activities.
