Received a text from Georgia CU stating my card has been deactivated. I do not belong to that credit union and never had a card. I also believe it is a scam. .

I received a text last night from 762-241-4836 saying that my GEORGIA_CU card had been deactivated...it even listed the first four of my debit card #.   It said to call .706-844-1724.  I called the number and got a recorded message saying it was the Georgia Credit Union Activation line and to please enter my account number.  I hung up and checked my account online to verify nothing had been run through my account. Going by the bank today.

Got a text tonight sayin my card was deactivated.. and to call. I did call from a business land line and it rang once and didnt do anything else. For sure a scam. I do not have a card with those numbers at all.

I got a txt message also about  Georgia CU seems to be a spam/scam

My wife and I also got this text message about Georgia CU.
