Just got a call at 7:00PM.  ID said Power Choice. Didn't answer because I've been getting way too may of these calls about changing to another power provider.  Got a call from Discount Dept. (203-538-0541) and numerous other numbers.  It's not scamming.  These are legit third party power providers who will give you a discount, but only for a while. Then they have the right to charge whatever price they want.  Yet the power still comes through PSE & G so I'm still not sure how all this works.  I just ignore them and hope that someday the government will do something about these unwanted solicitations (good luck with that one).  But, I hope everyone enjoys the holidays ! :)

Electric Bill Scam

Received same call and let it go into the answering machine - no message left!  Very strange.

Same. Caller ID said "Lebanon, PA". Let it go to answering machine. No message left.
