I don't normally pick up calls with Unknown Name listed, but I was expecting a call from my veterinarian and thought it might be them. Oops, no one there. Glad I checked here. Won't make that mistake again. I never give money over the phone anyway.

There's no point in telling people this online, unless they are are still online when you tell them. More often than not, they never come back to re-read what they typed to see the comments that come afterwards. Also, they may not know that typing in all caps is equivalent to shouting. My old aunt (she's 87 now) always types in all caps and asks me to do it too when I email her, because she finds it easier to read. She has glaucoma so she's loosing her sight a little bit more each month.

I've recently purchased a car from a less than reputable dealership. Ever since I've been getting there random telemarketers and hang up phone calls. Maybe it's a coincidence (although I've had nutty number for years with not a problem) or maybe it's part of the bs that goes with an unwise decision to use Rockys Auto.

Leaves messages regularly on a business line, usually nonsense with the occasional sexual remark.

The person who owns this phone number needs to stop calling unless they know us .. I am told its a telemarketing company whatever.. I just don't pick up for any stupid number that calls me !

This number belongs to a place called healing minds. Apparently they are in the denver area. I will have to stop by their store tomorrow and trip. I feel a lawsuit coming.

They wanted to speak to the man of the house. Told them he was not here. They said they were fund raising for breast cancer and wanted to send someone to my home for a one time donation. I said no. This number has been calling frequently.I will report this number to the National Do Not Call list.

Call the better business and report the scam

They claim, collecting money for breast foundation, second call asked them not to call anymore.  Yet they still call. Sundays late evenings.

just got a call for my dead mother, they said there was no passing and hung up.. im expecting fraud on accounts in a few here. not only was that rude but extreemly insensitave! and ill be finding out who that was.

You were called by the breast cancer scammers. There is no threat to you, unless you fall for their scam, an give them your credit card number.

Bogus breast cancer research scam. Called us twice tonight from two different numbers.

A woman asked for me by name and started talking about raising money for breast cancer research. I tried to tell her that I have to wake up very early for work and she can't call me late at night. She hung up on me without acknowledging what I said.

This number has called our house about 8 times in the past couple of weeks.  They always ask for my husband. I ask who is calling and they say "no message, we'll call again".  When I call back, I also get a busy signal.

Remove this caller, they call and hang up. And when called back, it goes to a busy signal

I said that we were on the do not call list after the woman caller refused to identify the reason for her call. She refused to give the name of the company or organization she was working for. I understand the rules that allow political calls and fund raising efforts. My concern is that the caller should have made clear the purpose of the call. She kept demanding to speak with the "man" of the house. Hence, the reason I gave the phone to my cat.

said they were calling from the Breast Cancer research foundation..I asked if the caller knew what time it was and she replied yes, then hung up.

It is not a violation of the DNC Registry unless they attempt to sell you goods or services over the phone.  And should they,  the DNC will not take any action unless your caller is a Registered with the FTC Telemarketing company.

Called the number back. Got a prerecorded message that no one was able to answer the call. And if I wasn't interested in the fund raising effort I could press"1" to have my number removed. So it is some unknown fund raising effort.

Answered call because it was a local number. Woman asked for the "man or lady of the house". I told her we are on the do not call list. She persisted and again asked for the man of the house. Gave the phone to my cat.

Just called; left no message.
