This number keeps calling me and I do not know who they are.
When I call it back it rings and rings and then it sounds like it dials another number and after a few rings it dials another number then it hangs up.

Sounds like spy stuff doesn't it?

I get this too. Another number that is called in the same Longmont, Colorado area is 303-671 0071 which some have ID's as western Health.

A 3rd number from that area is 303 332 8394 (cell phone)

You must call 303-671-2617 or 303-671-6860 and ask to "place an order".  Tell the sales person that you want your name OFF their faulty automatic dialer.  Some guy takes your number.  I reported them to the BBB in Denver, CO where they are localed.  The outfit is called Western Medical and they tell you that they do surveys but the sales opportunity seemed to tell me different.

As KGF stated if you call one of those #'s they will answer, just ask to speak to the manager. The two that I spoke to were Lynne and Mark. Lynne wasn't very helpful. While she did state that she would remove my name from their list, she wouldn't tell me where they got that list. She simply stated that if you've ever signed up for a sale or promotion at a mall or show or anything they buy these lists. One thing that I've never done...... When I asked to speak to her manager, she said there wasn't another one, and after a few heated words she hung up on me.  I called back several times and she continued to hang up on me.  On the last call, she transfered me to her manager Mark,  whom she had previously said didn't exist... how convenient.  He gave me the name and # of Coles Market Survey.  I just got off the phone with Western Health Systems and haven't searched for them yet,  but I will, and I WILL find them.......

ell it's been 6-7 weeks since my last post on this subject, and as of yet (knock on wood) I've not heard back from these scam artists,  worth the time I spent I'd say!!!

To post an update to my previous post......

This is where Western Health Systems is getting their information.  On the link is the phone number of their telemarketer database,  call them and ask them to remove your name and address and phone number.  The woman that I spoke with there was Kay, damn nice and more than willing to remove me from their books......give it a shot and I hope this helps you guys out there!!!!! heck I hope it helps ME out!!!!

I decided to fight fire with fire with these jerks.  I was home with the flu the other day and got a call from Western Health.  I told the same woman that I have talked to now about a dozen times that we are on the do not call list and that I've asked them to remove us from their list, she repeated the lie she has given me each time:  "I'm removing your number from the list right now."  I knew she was full of horse manure, so I called the number back and somehow got into their automatic computer dialing system, you could hear the computer trying to dial out, so I waited until the dialing stopped, and said "hello" and the woman who I just talked to asked to speak to "Mr. or Mrs. Anderson" I said "both of them are here, what is the nature of your call?"  She said, I would like to talk to Mr. Anderson.  I said, "Ok, go ahead, I'm Mr. Anderson."  She said, "Mr. Anderson I'm calling from Western Health and we're doing a survey regarding indoor and outdoor pollution, the survey will only take a few minutes of your time."  I said, "well, you know, we do have a lot of indoor pollution here when we get these flatulent calls from you people."
She immediately hung up.  I called the number again and again somehow got through to their computer dialing out.  Each time the dialing stopped I would say "hello, hello."  Often I would get the woman back again asking for "Mr. or Mrs......." to which I would respond - "oh, you've broken wind again have you?"  I did thisfor about an hour until I got tired of the game.  I thought this would put an end to the calls, but alas, they called again yesterday and I asked the VERY SAME WOMAN to put us on their do not call list, which she assured me she was doing.  I have reported each call to the do not call registry, and to the FCC.  I'm considering a law suit in small claims court.

Western Health is a telemarketing outfit.
Call and place an order to 303-761-2617.  Tell them to take your phone number off the auto dialer that apparently is broken.
I also filed a complaint with the better business bureau.

Hangs up when ansered. At least 3 different numbers for this caller: 1-303-671-0071, 1-303-337-8394, & 1-720-748-1015. Have looked them up on the internet. 303 area code is Colorado but 720 is from somewhere else. Obviously not a collections agency. If they are soliciting, who are they & what do they want? Why do they keep calling & hanging up? It's just a waste of time.

Hangs up when answered.  Shows up on caller ID at least 3x/week.
