Do not know anyone named Peggy and she did not identify her company.   Why are you calling?

It's a total scam. They try to make themselves sound legit but they aren't. I don't know how they get the names but my brother is pestered by them constantly and they try to call him via my cell phone. The woman who calls repeatedly is rude and tells me each time that he and she have spoken before and he knows what this is in regards to. She tells him that it's a medical collections agency. He has great insurance but hasn't been to doctor in years.

This person called my son's work, identified herself as Jenny but does not have a company name that she gives or anything.  Says it is medical bills and they want to be paid now!! what kind of scam crap is this?  When you call the number back she answers hello but once again no company name.  Pretty scandalous if you ask me....

I had my granddaughter research the # since she has been a debt collector for 16 years as was my wife for 22 years.  My daughter and son-in-law recv'd a call from Ms Banks asking if they had Power of Attrny of me, so I called to find out who would be asking such a question.  Jenny refused to provide the name of the company. When my g-dghtr figured out this was agency, she told me it was illegal for them to skiptrace in such a manner and illegal for them to withhold the company name.  There have been several complaints re: this agency and I have no unpaid debts whatsoever.  The collectors use aliases not registered with the American Collection Association, which I am not certain is a law in Florida, but if you research their # in google, you will see all of the posts with each of the names of people calling.  I also am aware that within the first 30 days not contact is made to any debt (pre-collect stage).  Only a letter notifying of a debt which gives me thirty days to respond.  I have not recv'd any correspondence from this agency relative to any debt in my name. I am posting my complaint on the web with the other complaints so that this company can be further investigated and hopefully correct their techniques. Just incase the OMB control# is 3084-0047 which was in the text at the bottom of the page before you click on the complain for assistance.  Go to the Federal Trade Commission (type it in google) and click on file a complaint.  Then to the right of the screen click on the brownish button that says FTC Complaint Assistance and proceed with filing your complaint.  You'll get a reference# at the end-you can call them too at 877-FTC-HELP--:)

JENNY CALLED, FROM NUMBER 727-535-2685 AND LEFT A VERY SHORT MESSAGE TO CALL HER BACK AT 727-536-8416

I keep getting a call from Erin on my cell phone and at work. She only leaves her first name. No company name or what she's calling for. My coworker took a message from her and she will only tell her it's a personal matter.

I just got the exact same call from the same #727-535-2685 and said to call the same other #727-536-8416 from the same person Jenny

yep, Jenny just called MY phone looking for my mom and dad. No way in the world that mom would give out my number---she has voicemail!

It  is Sunday afternoon, Sept, 7, 2008. I owe NO bills and have received this call, from someone, who I don't know.  The call came on my cell phone, that I bought from Wal-Mart, a couple weeks ago. I don't even know anyone name "JENNY".

Most collectors use an alias.  I'd better dollars to donuts that you have incorrectly ID'd the collector.  Great Job.

How rude can these people be.  They called for my daughter on my cell phone and said they couldn't speak with me about the call but that she needed to call them back regarding an important personal matter.  when i questioned even further they then said since your daughter is an emancipated minor -- really then why are you calling my call phone?  how upsetting to know that there are people out there targeting young people.  who knows what information my daughter would've given this person had she been the one to pick my cell phone up and answer it.

As others have stated. RUDE!!!! I know for a fact, I don't owe anyone any money, She is a total BI***!!!!

This person named PEGGY called my husband @ wk, It's a Federal Goverment Wk Place,. She left about 6 messages stating to call her, she also called my hm. When we called her back all she said was HELLO, she never said her name or what type of company she wks for, but she sure wanted all my info. So I told her you called me I'm just returning your call, who are you? She still refused to give me any info and she was very rude, so I asked her if it was a collection place, she still did'nt answer me, she just wanted my info, So I just told her what she can do with self and told her if she calls again she WILL BE SUED. I know all about those collector's. Just hang up and don't give any info about yourself. Record them if you can.

I received a text from 502 saying please call this number 727-536-8417... of course I didn't so I have no clue who it is, but I have to assume it is a bill collector.  It's a bunch of BS... They call alll the time I ahve no l=clue who or where they are  from....

Hi  I am also being harassed but this number. the caller is Peggy Sue Gold who lives in Lutz Florida and has a criminal record she spent 10 day in jail in May of 2006.
she is 40 years old. check out the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Hillsborough County, Florida Web Public Search area and run her name.

Got a voicemail message from someone named Erin.  Not sure what it is about, but sounds like a scam now that I have read all of the posts.

Lady VERY rude, I do not remember her name. She called me at work on my cell (where I answer phones) I was very busy and asked her to call me after 4:30 and I would be able to discuss the accounts with her. She agreed. She just called me back and said that I failed to return HER call that I was suppose to call her. I corrected her and said, "No ma'am, you were suppose to call me back because I was very busy when we spoke"..to which she insinuated I was a liar. I then told her I was not going to carry on this conversation with her if she was going to be rude and then she threatened me saying that they were going to take action. I hung up. Whatever, go ahead. One of the accounts she was talking about is from 1999. 11 freaking years ago. Good luck getting a cent out of me now. I was going to try and work the other accounts out until she pissed me off. Just a word of advice for you bill collectors out there, you get more flies with honey. You dont have to be a t**t when you call people.

Like so many others, I received a voice mail that said "Hi, this is Peggy. Call me back at 727-536-8416." I was very suspicious, so I did the first thing I always do and looked it up online. I am thankful to all of you who have posted. It has saved me the aggravation. It is just ludicrous that individuals such as this get away with harassment like they do. The majority of people who have outstanding medical bills have them because they don't have insurance or they have had a lot of medical issues that have added up. I have found very little compassion or politeness from many credit collectors, and it makes a bad name for those who are legit and trying to do an honest deed.

I got a call from 727-538-5652  telling em to call this number and ask for "Erin"; sexy sounding voice; I am in a business, and this si my home phone-make calls (for busienss) on it, but receive business calls on cell; told to call the above number.  A woman answered, I asked what kind fo business- refused to answer, asked who called, I said AAron, she said she will get her- realized collection agency- have 50,000 in medical bills- all were told upfront-no insurance, and busienss sucks.  I think the health paln put through is abd, but these barracudas are rqually horrible.

Same thing - someone named "Peggy" called my cell: "Hi, this is Peggy. Call me back at..." tried to sound like I knew her. I never answer calls on my cell - it's for outgoing only, and my friends know that. Besides, I only know one person in Pinellas county, and his name is not Peggy.

I thought i was the only one that got a call from Jenny who was very rude and would not let me get a word in, i ended up hanging up on her!!!

I received a message from a woman by the name of Erin and she asked me to call her at 727-536-8416. When I called, they ask you what number you are calling from. I told them "you should know, you called me". It?s obvious that this number is a collection agency, because most collection agencies will not reveal who they are. Not sure if this will work, but I reported them to the National Do Not Call List and if everyone else does, maybe something will be done.

Someone named Peggy left a message on my cell and attempted to make to sound as though we were friends.  When I called the number, I was put on the phone with someone named Peggy Gold and when she attempted to pronounce my name (If you don't know me then it's hard to say), I said if she couldn't pronounce my name then I don't know you.  She hung up... If this is a medical collection agency then they need to be reported.  I haven't been ill in years!

denise, is on of the collecters names from this number, and yes the recording sounds like ones home.
