I had a pop up saying I could win a $1,000 gift certificate from Walmart and to fill out certain information. I gave my work phone number instead of home and voila, I started getting calls at work frm (757-209-2021) caller id Diabetic Savings. I wonder if any of the other posts filled out information for a survey as I did. I did not complete the survey as they wanted me to buy magazines, etc. But the calls are coming in, three today so far. I never answer the phone and am hoping they will stop soon.

I keep receiving call from this number. Twice today and they don't leave any messages. I don't answer any numbers from an area code I am not familiar with. I have both my cell phone and home number on the DO NOT CALL LIST. They still call and don't leave any message.

your phones are a pain, if I do not have a name or phone number I know it will not be answered.

"Diabetic Savings"...calls our number several times a day. I simply click on & click off & do not answer. Also, this number has shown up on our cell phone. We do not answer.
Someone mentioned putting the number on a "no ring" list. Would that be something like the "do not call" list or is that just a list one would keep by the phone so people in the house don't answer the phone if they see this number?
This is most irritating since the calls come all day long. We are elderly and have health issues which makes this even more aggravating for us.

Another call today from Diabetic Savings! Ask them before to take my number off their call list. Little good that did. I am on State and National do not call lists. Reports to FCC say they don't deal with individual calls but will put it on their list of numbers. That is supposed to stop the calls!!

While it appears that National Asset Recovery Services was using this number earlier this year, it now appears to be in use by someone trying to sell diabetic items. We had a call come in during the early afternoon today - we didn't answer it, but the Caller ID gave this number and then this number was repeated in the "name" space on the Caller ID. I blocked our number by starting with *67 and dialed them back - got a recorded message about "(first word not pronounced clearly, but sounded like "your") Diabetic Savings." I blocked this number on our Panasonic cordless DECT 6.0 system. As expected, the same butt-holes called again about 1-1/2 hours later. The Panasonic system let it ring once to pick the calling number up, then did its blocking thing as usual. Well, the Panasonic got the Caller ID info on that first ring and then I got to read it on one of the Panasonic phones - same number, but the "name" space on the caller ID then read "Diabetic Saving."
I'd guess that NARS gave this number up due to too many of the call recipients catching wise as to who was calling and what the caller was after. Then again, maybe not - if NARS was as scammy as they sound (calling people whose first names match the supposed debtor they're looking for as reported above), they could be using this number now to run a scam to get people to send them money for diabetic supplies that never arrive or fail to meet the descriptions provided at the time those supplies are ordered.
As is often done, the recording I got when I called this number back indicated that I should dial "1" at the end of their recorded message if I did not wish to receive further calls from them. Yeah, right - that just tells them that you have a live number and generally you will then receive m-o-r-e calls rather than see calls from that source stop. The majority of the diabetic public gets their diabetic supplies from Medicare, Medicaid or private medical insurance such as Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Aetna, et. al., so there is not a large market for a pitch of this type. Perhaps many of the diabetics who have no coverage for blood sugar meters, test strips, medications and the like are also pretty gullible or willing to try almost anything to get some help and are then scammed by ***&%%$takers armed with telephones in their hands.
Best options I know of for calls of this nature are to either ignore them or block them. Sorry, but the odds that any of our governments are going to help with this type of BS are quite low.

Get daily calls from this person/company/fool and they all come to my MagicJack number. Don't know how they got that number because I only give it to family and medical sources.
I just ignore the calls and there is never a message left.
Maybe whomever is making the calls works for an organization that pays them for every call they dial.

Just got yet another call from this number. I decided to call them back and got a recorded message stating that they are with a "marketing" company wanting to help with our "diabetic" needs. We are not diabetics.

Received numerous calls from this number. Apparently, the "do not call" registry is no longer working. Let me rephrase that...it works for the honest telemarketers, but not for the dishonest scammers and debt collectors (of which we have none!). Got a call the other day from one looking for my father in law. My husband is a "Jr" so tracked him down.
