Got a call from this number this afternoon. The guy identified himself as "Harry" and said he was from "windows 35 tech department."  Knowing full well that Microsoft does not call customers directly, I played along with the scam as long as I could to get enough info to report the call to the authorities.  DO NOT let these people have access to your computer remotely!!  Don't let them scare you into believing your computer is sending out "hundreds of viruses." They are VERY PUSHY!   When I told him what he was full of (use your imagination here ;-) ) I let him know I had recorded the call and was contacting the police.  He told me he would delete "my Microsoft account," what ever that is supposed to mean and I would no longer be able to use my computer.  Funny, I'm writing online on that very same computer - go figure!  When people like this call, *57 the number and contact the local police.

Like another had said, I, too, will not, as a rule, answer a call that my caller ID will not recognize.

I get this call from same number that says Virginia Call every day 7 days of the week, but calls different times in the day.  IT's annoying

These people are gutter scum who collect goods and sell them on the streets like junkies.
   The specialize in scrap metal items, which can be quickly converted to drug money.

WISH I HAD THEIR HOME NUMBER! SICK OF RUNNING FOR THE PHONE.  WE HAVE SICK,AGING PARENTS AFRAID NOT TO COME TO PHONE.  WISH THEY WOULD GET A REAL JOB AND LEAVE US IN PEACE.

We received two calls from these people today. We have cordless phones that can be programmed to block calls. I just added this number to the list of blocked calls. We will have no more problems with this number.

These calls come in anytime of the day. Before you can say a word. They start off with a lot of numbers. Then the call is droped. You never get an answer out of them. When this happens keep a close eye on your phone bill. This has happend to me before. All of a sudden you have a charge on your bill, like 4.25 or more. When I called the phone company they said, when I picked up the phone I was excepting a charge to my phone. They gave me a refund one time and that was it. So don't pick up on the 757 calls.

These people called this morning, claiming they were from the Police Association of Virginia.  Two problems with this:  Caller ID said, "local call" (it was outside our area code), plus they were soliciting for money (we have never given anything to them before).  I reminded them that we are on the Do Not Call list, and they said it was okay, because they are a non-profit organization.  I warned them that it doesn't matter whether they are non-profit or not, because they are soliciting for funds.

telemarker of some sort,  calling almost daily and never leave msg,  unsoicited calling from this number and I am on dnc list, but this number must have gotten around that, or they dont care,  which is what Iam thinking,  I have changed phone numbers and somehow they keep calling,

this number appears in our caller id all the time.  no message is left.  I wish they would just STOP.

They are in fact from the chesapeake police department. They call us everyday since august. We tell no NOT INTERESTED. NO. Don't live in your side of the water. Absolutely no. Or lie and say we already donated. Still get the calls.

Tell them to take you off their mailing list. Or just report them. Get on the do not call list.

Or maybe your husbands have donated to them in the past.

I got a call from this 1 757-333-0911 phone number on Oct 31 morning around 8.30am. They said They are calling from VA state police department and  don't drink alcohol while driving and tell to your friends & neibors ofter that asked me to donate some &15,&25,&35 like. I said i don't know i have to ask my husband eventhough he said &15 is ok,tell me your firstname and last name. I got confused little bit. First He woke up me and said from police department then asking about personal details i just don't understand anything. Anyway I gave false information and said i have to ask my husband then he just disconnected the phone.If they are really from police department they can mail us, or we'll get caller id like police department or something.
so just think about it before giving any personal details.

I get this call randomly, never leaves a message.  I saw another post about this number on another site that says it's a breast cancer organization asking for donations.

This is not a charity organization. To further muddy the waters, shills often comment to allay suspicions, as if they themselves were call recipients.

This call came in at 8:20 AM from the Faternal Order of Police..

They call and leave no message.

I live in eastern VA and this is a local number to me, that's why I was suprised  to find it was something like this. The guy called me up and just said "HELLO HELLO HELLO!" no matter what I said. I know it wasn't a broken recording because I could hear other people in the background laughing. It wasn't a teenager. I think he was pranking me since I told him last time he woke me up. What is this business and what's wrong with these people? Can I report them to somebody?

I called back the number, and it was a recording.  Seems to be a fundraising group for several charities.  Gave me the option to enter my phone number and a representative would call me back.

This has got to stop!!  Enought already from this solicitor who calls at exactly the WRONG time.  Legal Action will be taken if the calls do not stop.

Ive had several calls from various numbers[across virginia and nationwide]They all have the same scam line.Fraternal order of police alledgedly soliciting for donations.They arent affliated with them.I had one call from them I knew beyond two shadows of a doubt was criminal.{Richmond va,traced back to a land line of a vacant building.These people are using this to scam you out of your money and personal identification for id theft.If anyone out there runs across a scam that seems to or actually does originate from virginia,please report it.In this area its not just your run of the mill criminals running these scams.Many scams originating here[or appearing to]have a higher probality to be tracable back to terrorist cells.

CONSTANTLY CALLING SEVERAL TIMES A DAY NO MESSAGE IS LEFT

757 333 0911 is a breasts cancer awareness fund.

We've gotten a ton of calls to our fax machine from this number.  They then call the house number!  It's a paid marketing company, pretending to be with your states Fraternal Order of Police, or Concerns of Cops, or another law enforcement entity.  They pretend to be calling directly from the organization.  They are not representing the organization, but making money for themselves, with 20% of your donation going to the particular law enforcement chapter!  It's BS!  Tell them that you are donating directly to the organization and don't call again!

Called and left no message. This is not police, they are saying they are looking for donations, but it's really a scam.....

Unfortunately Charities do not fall under the do not call list.
I'm assuming they are a charity.
