NO HE ISNT I CALLED THEM BACK TO SETTLE MY DEBT AND THEY WERE ACTING LIKE I WAS AVOIDING THEM. THEY NEED TO TAKE IT EASY OVER THERE

Some really rude person called from this number at 8 am this morning demanding to talk to me. I was at work and they were threatening my Mom that if she didn't tell them where I was, she would be arrested and so would I when I was found. Turns out after about 15 minutes, the caller realized I was not who they were looking for, but still would not tell me who they were or who they work for other than just a collection agency.

According to the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practice Act it is illegal for them to call neighbors or relatives for a debt they are trying to collect.

I would say to everyone that they should shoot a quick email to one of the executives of this company.

I would highly recommend that everyone send him a email to let him know if he keeps this up they could be in a world of hurt!

My sister just got a call from these people, too, sounding very official and saying they had a matter for the county I am in.  Isn't it illegal for them to contact anyone but the person they're looking for? Other calls intended for voicemail say something like, "If you're not such-and-such, please hang up now." I'm getting her to save the voicemail in case this ever comes up in the future, but I wonder if these people can actually be sued for this? Seems like I am not the only one they're doing this too, and I am pretty sure this falls outside the parameters for their debt collection.

Got a cryptic call from Samantha at Accelerated Solutions from phone 757-673-8526 looking for my wife re: my mother in-law.  They would not disclose why - only that it's a confidential matter.  I searched Accelerated Solutions and this phone number: 757-673-8526 and this a debt collector probably trying to intimidate us to pay on my in-laws debts.  I called them back and told them they have no business calling my house that if there was any debt they were after that isn't ours. I also told them not to call my house again, that anything they've got between my in-laws and them is a matter between them.

A woman name Danielle (ext. 329) called twice to contact a relative to get a statement for a pending case scheduled to be processed in the county.  The message was left on my answering machine each time.  Since I'm on the Do Not Call list, I'm going to file a complaint.

this company is totally unprofessional and very rude. if they are able to collect one account i would be very surprised.

They are calling me trying to get a hold of my relative. (Turns out I'm not related to him but he has my maiden name.) They claim to need a statement reguarding DSS20865. They need to stop calling because this has nothing to do with me or my family.

These people are attempting to collect on a debt that was deemed fraudulent back in 2000.  The statute of limitations ran long ago.  They have now dinged my credit with one of the credit reporting agencies.  I have filed a complaint with the BBB.  All of us must do this and let people know just how unethical these folks are.....

Been getting messages for a while for a name I do not recognize. Finally called today. Told them to take my number off their list. Becky was very polite and said she would do so. We'll see.

My number is unlisted. I keep getting calls from this number, in which I don't answer since I don't recognize the number. I finally answered today and there was a long pause before a male asked for Nicole. I told him he had the wrong number. I hope that's the last time.

This company is rated "A" by the BBB (Better Business Bureau). That CANNOT STAND.

Ok, my boyfriend calls me to tell me that his unlisted cell- phone is recieving calls from this company. And they are looking for my x husband. I was shocked and embarrassed. I called the number and was told the same story that they are going to issue paper work for my x in the county in which he resides and they need a statement from him. Im glad I found this site!

These scam artists have been calling me and my sister-in-law with the same gag - "Britney" is calling about county paperwork. I found out it is a debt my son incurred more than 15 years ago. The are the bottom of the barrel as far as debt collection goes. Besides being past the statute of limits, it's not even my debt! The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - look it up. Requires debt collectors to supply validation of debt, including original contracts. Also, once you receive that (if you do) you can then say "I wish to work the original creditor, not a debt collection firm." THIS IS YOUR RIGHT. It stops them cold.
3 OTHER SUGGESTED COURSES OF ACTION
(1) CALL OR WRITE TO THESE JERKS DIRECTLY - and refer to the above law and ask for written validation including original contracts, and then tell them you want to work with the original creditor. DON'T GET MAD OR FLUSTERED - its what they like.

(2) COMPLAIN TO AUTHORITIES
Write or email the Virginia Attorney General's Office Consumer Affairs to complain about this firm's abusive debt collection practices. Write the BBB in the area, the chamber of commerce and the editor of the local newspaper.
(3) FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE
Call Brittney at 757-673-8526 ext 331 dozens of times a day. Give them a taste of their own medicine. Tie up their phone lines. If u have unlimited long distance, call and leave the line open as long as you can. Repeat the message above about asking for validation of debt over and over. DO NOT USE FOUL LANGUAGE - you could be subject to legal action or get in trouble yourself.

I got a message from an April Gifford at this number. Person that picked up when I returned the call was rude and invasive. Told me I need to "secure the services of an attorney". When asked what the last four digits of my SSN were, I just said yes so she would continue talking and it wasn't anything to do with me.
Told them to put things in writing AND I reported them to the Virginia Fraud Dept and the Attorney General of the state.

I keep getting calls from this # stating, this is "Chelsa and we have a PENDING matter from the couty I live in, states that they have a pending matter against me" and when I called this woman started YELLING at me, saying that I had a breach of contract with a company back in 2000? and I asked her to send me the inforamtion, she said we did back in Dec. they have my old address, but somehow obtained my cell phone #? I am so lost and confused. the statue of limitations in Ohio is 15 years, so I am not sure what to do at this point!

said they had an old "business assoc" of mine county "paper work" pending. She said her name was "Brittney".

I've recieved numerous phone calls from this number, the message says it's Brittany and that she needs to talk to me reguarding an important matter that is pending in my county and it is important that I speak with her to get a statement from me. Tonight she called my brother-in-law whos last name is different than mine because it's my husband's step brother leaving the same message with him the exact same message with all the little information she leaves on my machine. He called me right away because he thought I was in some kind of serious trouble, that was embarrassing enough because I've never been in trouble with the law. Well I called the number and it's ACCELERATED FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LLC and I hung up and decided to do some research on it before talking with anyone there. Well, it turns out that a lot of people are complaining about these people and the debts they are trying to collect are past the statue of limitations or just fake debts.

Odd message, they say its time sensitive, do not say the company name at all, if this is a collection company they are WAY out of compliance.

They are calling me about a bill that is ficticous, so watch out! They even called my fiance's cell phone number - how they got that I do not know.

these people claim they are a legal service they have called everyone from 3 states who they think knows whomever thay are looking far  this is against the law if they are collecting debt  they need to stop.

dont know who this is but she is saying she is from san mateo countny and sheis not she is calling everyone i know and my work
