I received a call from this number on my cell phone. Shortly afterwards, I received a call on my home phone as well. I didn't answer either as only the number showed up on caller ID.

This call is legit. Our Boss was having a issue with dial specific area code. Verizon is working to resolve the issue. My take on the whole communications aspect, too many of them!

None of our 3 FIOS land lines including the cell's features were operational (call waiting,forwarding and such. A very nice Verizon tech gave me what he said was THE direct line (757-896-6330) to call if the problems were not resolved. He noted that the ploblems were on Verizon's end. Should have said, "Please call our busy signal anytime". LOL

Its Verizon- they were calling to check the status of a replacement box they sent out and to see if I needed any assistance setting it up. This was for FIOS TV service.
