A guy keeps calling my phone for my husband with a very thick accent. He said his name is David Jones and he is an attorney. He said my husband has a lawsuit against him for a payday loan from a company called American Payday which we have never even heard of. It is scary because he had my husbands personal info such as ss#, address and even knew where he worked but I know this is a SCAM..do not send them anything or confirm the info they have PLEASE!!

I bet they'll never ever forget me in their entire life. Too bad they started ignoring my return calls cause they can't take it anymore. If they answered me I'd have cussed them out for hours and gotten rid of their sleep. They messed with the wrong person LOL

I cussed them out so much that they started ignoring me now. Thats what they get for trying to mess with innocent people. One of them even said to the other that I am bothering him LOL a guy who bothers others got bothered. Its funny to hear them cry, bunch of wussies hiding in Mumbai, India.

I just got a call from 760 544 0212, from a supposed Atty, who sounds like hes calling from Inida. stated that I was being sued. Funy thing is that I owe no one and I recently pulled by CBR so I knew this was a scam. i advised him that I am a Operations MNGR for a collections agency and that he was violating a slew of laws, he told me to go f*ck myself....I called back and spoke with "Steve", who sounds worse than the first guy. I told him what was going on and that he would remove my number. Stand up for yourself and advise whoever calls you that they are breaking the law and threaten them, they will stop!

I have been getting calls from this guy for 2 weeks.  Telling me they are going to arrest me for fraud on a loan I didn't take out.  Somehow has my SS# and keeps leaving threatening voice mails.  He has a very thick accent and says his name is Eddie Burke, and he's an attorney.  Even after telling him to stop calling me, he continues, and somehow has my cell phone number too.

I applied for a loan months ago that I was denied. Now they keep harassing me saying I iwe 800.00, I asked for a case number he said it'll be 200.00 . I told them I know its a scam he said he'll send the sheriff to my house. Then said I could get a walmart card to send them money smh.

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM AN EDWARD GREEN SAYING I HAD TO PAY HIM MONEYOR I WOULD BE ARRESTED!!!!
I WAS A VICTIM OF THIS SCAM ALREADY LAS NT MONTH.

Recieved this phone call several times, a gentelman with a thick accent told me he was with richardson's law firm and was calling for legations, He presumed to tell me I had outstanding balances for several payday loans and If I didnt send them money via bank card from walmart I was to go to jail for fines upwards around 8,000 dollars in court costs and lawyer fees.



Tried calling back and it rings several times then hangs up,

is there anything I can do to get

Received multiple calls from 7605440212, they say I'm being sued for payday loan but refuse to give clear accurate information. I hung up and they started calling back to back, when my friend answered she was yelled at "Why did you hang up on me?" They said they are forwarding information to the attorney general. Asked for a fax number to send bank statements and they stated we don't need those just send money. The person that called was a woman with a strong accent, stated that I was gonna be arrested if I didn't make the payment.

Tried calling the number back and it rings then disconnects.

I just received a call from this number 760-544-0212 from a person with a thick accent. The scary thing is he new my social security number. He said I am being sued by a American Payday for a loan I took out Wednesday. So dumb of them to give a day, I told him I never took out any loans on Wednesday or ever received any money. I told them to prove I ever got any money. The became very irrate and started yelling at me. I told him I've never seen a law office react in that manner and that I know they are a scam due to their unprofessionalism. Then I decided to play with them. I asked them what't the case number, the amount of the loan, and the became upset and hung up on me. Please do not give into these predators. They are fake and trying to steal from you. Even if they have personal information of yours don't give in to them.

They just called my parents house asking for my cousin. Guy said his name was Paul Martin (Thick Accent) and he was calling from Richardson's Law Office and that he needed to speak with my cousin because they were suing him. I asked for a number for him to call back and he gave me 1-760-544-0212. When my cousin called back they said he was being sued and my cousin said for what he got stupid and told him you should know. When my cousin got stupid back with him the guy said it was for a payday loan that he took out (which my cousin never had a payday loan). Paul then told him that he could avoid being sued if he made a payment in the next 30 min's he wanted a credit card #. My cousin asked when was court and Paul told him on Friday at 2pm (mind you our court closes at 12 on Friday). So my cousin said he would call him back. Then 20 mins later Paul called back I told him my cousin left and he said well your cousin just spoke with James Anderson (Lawyer) two min's ago (when my cousin was already gone for 15 mins) and he said he was making a payment for him to call Paul back. When i asked where he was calling from he said CAL. mind you were in NJ. and to call back b4 7 pm his time. SMH this is a scam please don't send money.

I received a call from the. He said his name was James Anderson and that he was representing a law firm. He wanted to me to send him 180.00 by phone to clear up a law suite against my fiance. Said someone took out a loan in his name and my bank account info. When I asked him several questions and he got nasty and offended and hung up. Dont send money..

Received a call from this number.  Thick accent. Said his name was Derrek Miller and he needed me or my attorney to call him immediately.  SCAM!
