been getting calls like this this is a scam new numbers their using is 916-234-434520 or 0000

I got a call from a man hard to understand saying that I owe money for a pay day loan. I never has a loan and he stated I was going to cour in California.  He was very persistant I hung up on him he called back four times. The number showes up on the called id as 000. He left me a voice mail also the number is 760 364 0537.

I got same message different law firm each time how orignal.

Payday loan scam.  They call up saying that you owe money from a payday loan.  Threaten that if you do not send them the money they will have you extradited to California within the hour to stand trial.  They seem to have a lot of personal information.  Don't confirm anything with them and report them to the FTC.

i am getting the same call from daniel brown also with a strong accient, my brother in law works for the sheriffs dept here and his supervisor said so not give out any info its a scam and they are stealing from people 's bank accounts!   we asked for documentation in the mail and threatned them with OUR lawyer and they hung up on us!   please just be careful and dont give out any info over the phone!

I have received threatening messages from a firm called ACS supposedly associated with Payday Loans.  They told me they had a lawsuit filed against me, had access to my social security number and other personal information.  They also threatened to call my employer and supposed references.  I have researched this and found out it is a scam.  They need to stop calling.

its a huge scam

Well I recieved a call from a Scott Jones, he didnt ask me for money and didnt tell me that I had any cases against me.  Instead he was talking to me and telling me that he is getting a bad rep from others calling you from his number and that he is in a legitament business and even offered me a job.  He told me his company would pay me $60,000 a year to help promote his law offices.  He didnt have a that usual middle eastern voice, it was more like a normal person.  I was supprised to say the least, especially since I recieve those scam calls at the least 3-4 times a day about 6 days a week.  I dont know, maybe I am getting scammed in this, but so far he hasnt asked me for any money......

Received call #2 today. Can tell the Christopher Brown message is a recording ; caller ID 0000 1 min 4 sec. Exactly the same message. Called back - some other middle eastern accent picked up and could hear call center activity. Asked them what this was about - suddenly they wanted to get off the phone. Said they were a law office and hung up. I doubt it if you could hear lots of people making calls.

I was gone to lunch and he lkeft his name (CHRISTOPHER BROWN) HAS A DEEP MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT. i HAD BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THESE SAME PEOPLE OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS. I RECOMMEND CALLING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND CALL THE CREDIT COMPANIES TO PUT A FRAUD ALERT ON YOU CREDIT. ALSO CALL FEDERAL TRADES COMMISSION. REPORT THESE FOOLS WHO ARE TRYING TO SCAM US AND END THESE CALLS.

I got the same message at work. Caller ID 0000. Said his name was Chrisopher Brown [really bad accent] and threatened me. 'Dont disregard this message. I need you or your attorney to call me. If I don't hear from either of you, all I can do is wish you good luck'.

Caller had asked for what seemed like my name and wanted to contact my attorney, he stated that if I don't call him back there will be trouble!!!  He sounded like a computer voice.
