I found messages on my husbands facebook asking him to sms her...under the name jennifer kovaleski, and the same number as everyone else here, 760 895 1303, he had apparently messaged her back on facebook and the phone number also appeared on his phone history (yeah I was pretty annoyed when I found it) I sent a friend request myself to check out this person, but got no response. At first I thought its a younger woman trying to exchange sexy texts with my husband, I now think that whoever it is, is probably a scammer.

I also got a friend request from an Eleanor Oaks who messaged me saying nice pics and asked me if i had three wishes what would they be. and then had to go and left the same number 760-8951303 and said to text. I had added her because we had mutual friends.

Some person sent me a picture of a woman.  Said they liked my picture.  Asked me to call.  BTW; I don't have a picture posted to facebook.

My fiancé got all the same messages from a Facebook person terese Kline on FB she's scamming people and he accepted cause she was friends with 4 of our guy friends! Scammer!!

Got a message from Jennifer Olis same thing if I won the lottery crap gotta go text me. Luckily I didn't text it.

my son who is only 13 got a request from a nicole lamb on Facebook with this phone number.. ask him what is the craziest thing thing you have ever done

Same thing, this person looked familiar, and was friends with some of my friends on facebook. Said she had to leave, and gave that number, "text me".  Before i did anything i wanted to make sure this number wasn't associated with fraud... glad i did!

She is (or they are) {also} going my the name Lisa Romprey, and it's a new account-only 18 friends at the moment.  I reported the account to facebook, not sure if that will do anything. I also messaged the mutual friends and let them know.

Person with the account name Nicole Sanfratello  sent me this message as well.  They seem to be phishing for some device information:

Must be a scam.  Area code is for So Cal.  Beware sending SMS to anything..  there may be 'texting charges' like they used to use with  American Idol and drek like that.  Check your phone bill if you ended up sending nicole a message

The account that is sending these messages is a fake account set up to send these messages in hopes that you will respond to them via text message. If you do, you will be sent a link to a pornographic site, according to a poster here who did text the number.

If you get a message with this number:

1) Unfriend the person sending the message.
2) Report the account to Facebook as either fake, spam, or scam.

In order to protect your information, as there is potential for identity theft as well:

1) Go to your privacy settings at the top of the page in the left hand corner.
2) Hide the following:
Your phone number
Your email address
Your date of birth (you can hide only year if you'd prefer)
3) Hide your friend list.

Why am I telling you to hide this information? In the case of phone number, email, and DOB, there is no real reason this needs to be on Facebook. Anybody close enough to call or email you probably already has this information stored in their phone or email contact list. They probably know your birthday as well.

As for your friend list, I believe this is how this number is finding new contacts. Hiding your friends list will prevent the people you know from falling victim

I also got a message from a person called Lisa Azebedo on facebook telling me that she added me cuz she liked my prof pic and asked me to call her back on that specific number mentioned above.....760 895 1303......
definitely it's a scam!!!!......really weird.....be careful people....!!!!.......

Today ,on facebook i receive ra request from Nicole , and she left this number 760-895-1303  and ask to text message . The person said that she had to go right now .

My husband also got the same message on his fb.  Guess I am going to have to look this person up and open up a can of whoop a$$!  I agree BEWARE!

The FB persons name was Nicol Luberger, seemed to be targeting ppl in college and high school. I GOT THE SAME MESSAGE .... SHE ' S GETTING OFF LINE ,  AND GAVE HER NUMBER
