yep, scammer, phone number still active, looks like a cell phone from Augusta Georgia, wants to get you to ship merchandise using fake paypal emails and of course there is no real paypal sent; "VoIP phone from Augusta, GA" or an ATT mobile; texting; wonder if this guy should be reported or has been reported to police? I did forward to Paypal "spoof" department. from the looks of this, he's been at it all year

This idiot texted me for a listing I put on CL for watches. Same b***s*** Africa scam as others above. What a f****ng idiot...to undermine me or anyone else. This is 2012...who the hell can't smell these c*** suckers out when they insist on Paypal?

Yep, he just tried the same scam on me, offered $500 and $150 s/h for a #40 xbox, I called PayPal and they said it was fraud, they asked my to forward the emails to spoof@paypal.com

Guy just tried to scam me and wouldn't stop harassing me about a bracelet and told me he would pay $150 in shipping! I told him to go F* off....wanted me to use paypa and send it to garrysmith026@Mail.com

Just got a text from this guy wanting to purchase my laptop i posted for sale on classifieds. Got the same as myriiam saying he was in the hospital and wanting to buy it for a friend that is in west africa and he is in the hospital. I wrote back saying he was a scam and that i would not sell it to him and he wrote back saying he wasn't and that is why he is using Paypal. Be aware of this guy!

yap. just got  tet from this number. wanted to  pay using paypal as well, saying he was in the hospital and needed to buy the tablet for a friend in west africa. told him i was  not accepting paypal and had heard of people being scammed.

He just text me concerning my wedding dress on ksl, wanted to use pay pal as well. Said he didn't want to loose out on this, "item," and that pay pal is 100% fraud proof. NOT! hahaha

This person keeps texting me over and over. I have over 30 phones listed on CL, they text so much it runs my battery down. This is ridiculous how do you stop this?
