I got a new cell phone # and ten minutes after activating my number these people called me. They didn't leave a name of who they were looking for, or for what reason, just that they needed a call back.
I called them back and left a message with who was calling me, letting them know this was a new number for me, and it was not going to work for whoever they had in their records with this number, and to please remove it from their records.
They are still calling...frustrated.

I got a call from these guys but i didnt answer because I was going out to eat with a friend of mine last night, I thought it was for a job but they didnt leave a voicemail, so I had to look up the number

I have had a number of calls from Security Auto Loans, Inc. I do not have an account with them, and I have never done business with them.
Someone listed my cell number as a reference for their car loan with these people. I explained that they had the wrong party, and they promised to remove my number from their records.
I asked at least 6 times over the past 3-4 months to have my number removed from their system. The caller, 'Jim' said he would remove the number, but the calls continued.
Tonight, while I was having dinner, it happened again. I called them back on their toll free # from my other (Non-listed, Non-published) phone.
I asked for a manager, they hung up. I kept calling back (10-12 times)until I reached someone who realized that I probably wasn't kidding, and that I would keep calling their number until they cooperated. That person transferred me to Jessica A., who said she was a manager. She took my information, and promised to have my number removed from their records.
A look around the net turns up a bit more information about the company:
They are based out of 4900 Hiway 169 North, MPLS, MN 55428-4017. Their listed phone numbers are
866-857-9188 and

Richard Boenstein is listed CEO,
Vincent O'Connell is listed as Director,
Amber Lebow is listed as an Office Manager, and
Jessica Arellano is listed as an Office manager.
The company has a Better Business Bureau grade of 'F' (the lowest possible).
They have had a number of complaint filed against them in the last three years according to the Better Business Bureau.
If you end up dealing with these people, you may want to copy the BBB, the Dept of Commerce (where Security Auto Sales gets their license to conduct business), and the MN Attorney General's office. Those offices are being e-mailed a copy of this text.

I got a call from this number tonight. I was at work, so I didn't answer it. Though, if I wasn't at work, I still wouldn't have answered it. I figured if it was important, they would leave me a message. They didn't. I called back after reading this, and was unable to reach anybody. But, like you, I have no idea why they called me! And don't look forward to being in the position you were in.
