Someone at phone number 765-205-4911, called our dedicated fax line, what a moron, but not to be concerned, he will prove me correct and call back.

He calls our office everyday~ He is legally not allowed to do this~ I wonder if he knows this`

Just got a call from this guy Eric Waterman.
He asked way too many questions for our company. Outside of building color, cross streets, etc.
He then asked for office managers name. This guy thinks he is above the law~ He does not know who he is calling~ he is calling a law firm~ What a whack job~

Got the same call from Eric Waterman wanting a contact number for my sister in law.  I told him I wasn't accountable for any of her debts and he said it wasn't pertaining to past debts but was a Federal case.  I told him that if he could give me a contact number and a name I could relay the information to my wife and she would determine if she needed to contact her sister and give her the contact number and name.  Then I did a google search and found this site.  I think I'll just ignore the whole thing and if he calls back I'll just say I never heard of that name.

Just got a message from the same person named in the above comments - Eric Waterman.  He said nothing, just that I needed to give him a call back as soon as I received the message.  I thought the whole thing sounded fishy, so I Googled the phone number and found this thread, along with multiple others across the country.  Various phone numbers, various intimidating messages left from different people, same result.  So glad I Googled.  I have forwarded his phone number onto my lawyer, and he is handling it.

We got a call from Eric Watterman from CLA.

Left a message on my home answering system asking for my daughter or her attorney. Don't know why he was calling but I called back and advised him that my daughter is not at this number.  A true jerk.  Have reported him to FCC this afternoon.  Will continue to try to ascertain exactly who this guy is.  Eric Waterman.

Left a message saying that it was urgent that I return the call. Called back, would not give me any information other than I supposedly owed money. Said he represented National Assistance Fund and that I applied online for a loan that I never paid back. Googled NAF and nothing came up. Would not give me the date the loan was supposedly applied for, the companies name that I applied with (apparently NAF doesn't deal directly with consumers) and would not send me anything in writing. Threatened me with jail time and said that I needed to "lawyer up". Very rude and would give no information which leads me to believe this is a phishing scam. Also I monitor my credit report from all three bureaus and none of them reflect this so called debt- if it was a loan that wasn't repaid it would go on my credit report...when I asked him this he said it wasn't credit...how is a loan not credit?! Very fishy, do not trust!

Back from my days of when I had bad credit (maybe 7-8 years ago), I learned ALOT about credit repair and dealing with collection agencies.  I just had this "scam artist" leave me a message TODAY (1/2 hour ago) at my work number.  Fortunately I was on another call so I didn't need to talk with him.  Didn't even say who he was with or why he was calling (just that it was serious and urgent that I call him TODAY).  Those types of calls don't deserve another thought (and DON'T BE INTIMIDATED), and NEVER, EVER give out any personal and/or bank account information to these people.  That's what they're hoping to do by their intimidative phone calls.  BTW, my husband and I were just applying for a refi on our home mortgage yesterday, and collection agencies buy the lists of anyone that is applying for a mortgage just for this very purpose.  They TRY to get you to pay a non-existent debt in the hopes of scaring you into thinking you won't qualify for your mortgage if you don't comply.

Received a call from this number today that we owed a debt would not give me much information pretty much said that i would go to jail and had all these number and case numbers.  I was so upset he had so much information i wasn't sure what to do and I gave him my account information.  I am so upset right now that now can't believe i fell for this crap.  Why do they do this s***

Got a call that 2 complaints have been filed against me from a company called National Assistance Fund. I searched the web for this 'company' and found nothing. The man called also named Eric Watterman. I told him that I have never heard of this company and he responded by telling me that not everyone in American knows about every company. I told him that if they filed 2 complaints on me I believe I would have need to know who they are. He was very rude and couldnt give me any other information.

Got call from Eric Watterman from CLA, stating my name has been forwarded to state police, need to call him ASAP.

Someone by the name of Eric Watterman for Case Lowe and Associates stating that my resitution was not completed. Don't they have better things to do.

This is a scam phone call. It's a supposed collection agency saying you owe some type of debt that needs to be paid immediately or they will pursue legal action. They will threaten & harass you. Don't be intimidated; they are no one & have no authority anywhere, no matter WHAT they say.
