Getting to old for these kind of calls, don't understand and can't hear well.

Got it on my cell - didn't answer - calling it back (NUMEROUS TIMES ) even in the evening - it rings busy.

I'm pretty sure this is actually stats can. I just got a call from them about two hours ago or so and they left a message telling me it was Stats Can and to call their 1-877 number to take part in some survey and quote some ticket number. I checked out the 1-877 number they left and it was a legit Stats Can number that corresponded to a legit survey. I haven't called them back yet, but I'm pretty sure it's actually them.

Stats Canada? Or a hoax
