Are you still with this company? Did they keep their promise and pay off your original debt for a much cheaper price. In other words, did they save you money on the long run? Would you recommend using them again of you had to?

Debt Collector
I signed up with this company in December of 2009. Since that time they have stolen over $3000.00 of my money. I cannot get a hold of them through phone, email, or fax. It is as though they fell off the face of the Earth. I have contacted a lawyer, made a report to the BBB, and global client solutions also filed a consumer fraud alert against them (ya know the 3rd party bank they use). I would not recommend anyone to this company and I know I will never see my money again. They stole all of my money and I still have creditors breathing down my neck. This company is a FRAUD!

We filed debt resolutin with First Choice and paid off the first three card just about half of itI  Then the IRS made us pay the remainder last year of the first three cards. No one told us that was going to happen.   We should have fied Bankruptcy. We have the remainder of the larger accounts to pay down and we fear that the IRS is also going to make us pay them the remainder of them.  We are looking into filing Bankruptcy now so that does not happen.  If you ask me our $7,000 was just a bandaid to get us by until they get all the money back. After two years your credit is good again after Bankruptcy.  After 10 years your credit finally gets better if you pay them back.  Tell me which is best?

I would sway away from them due to my own experiences. They have a lack of client communication skills by phone, usps, pick one. They have also moved there office to another location and didn't feel it was the proper thing to do in notifying all their clients. They have moved to:
First Choice Debt Resolution
5340 North Federal Highway
Lighthouse Point, Florida   33064
from there Hollywood Florida old address.

The BBB in Florida rates them  "F"  and there are complaints filed.

If you don't have excess money to settle you're debts within 3 to 6 months then don't go with any debt consolidation company because if you think you won't be hauled into court and judgements passed to make payments every month to your creditors with court judgements then you are misled. First Choice states in their contract that they do not settle your debts in the "monthly payments" format. You will make monthly payments to them and they take most of the first 10 to just pay there 15% of your total debt fee. It depends on what your total debt is as to what your 15% fee will be. Only after you have satisfied there 15% fee in monthly payments will money actually go into a savings account that you will set up towards your debt. They also take a $39.95 monthly fee for the duration of your monthly payments in addition to the 15% fee of your total debt. They also have a $9.85 banking fee on a monthly basis. Add it up. So, if you don't have money saved to have them negotiate your debt in the first 3 to 6 months then stay away from this. Your creditors will not wait for you for a year or more to settle the debt you owe and thats a fact, been there, done that. none of what I have said is a lie. Beware. If you've no extra money to pay off your debts thru a debt negotiator then pay your debts the best you can every month and if your creditors aren't happy with what you can send them then they'll eventually say you broke the contract with them and they'll get a collection agency/lawyer and take you to court anyway. Thats a fact.  Good Luck

As one of the owner's of First Choice Debt Resolution, LLC I can assure you that we are not a "Boiler Room" and I'm not sure who wrote the negative or positive posts, but we welcome ALL feedback so that we can get better.  Their are a lot of crooks unfortunately in the debt business, but we take great pride in really striving to do the right thing by people.  We are members of the organizations that are mentioned above and are working on becoming an Accredited Debt Firm which few companies can say.  All of our calls are replies from inquiries, so if you did not make one, please let us know so that we can go after whomever sold us the lead.

Yup try to drum up business on here before your entire industry is made ILLEGAL and it won't be a moment too soon.

We can tell you're a real bottom-feeder by the fact that your so-called company has made so many bogus posts on this board trying to trick people. Scammers sometimes do this when the scam isn't working over the phone well enough, and maybe this very site is doing some real good.

Now go back to the boiler room before while you still can scammer!

I am working with First Choice too and have had nothing but a good experience so far.  They have done what they have said, decent customer service, and really no complaints.  They seem fine to me, but maybe they just got your number from someone filling out a bad field on their website.
