I had to go through several people to finally get the right number to opt out of these super annoying calls and that number is 1-800-420-7154

Received the call today and decided to answer it.
It is from Stage informing me of an upcoming sale.

It gave me the option to stop receiving of these calls
by pressing the number 9.

Someone calls - but never says anything

Just like taking a written exam, I should have raed ALL of the available material first!  The 10 JUL 08 posting by Bealls is correct!  Just call the number back and sellect OPTION #2 vice #1.  Plug in your phone number and you are supposed to be removed by THEIR automated system.

I just called the number back and selected option #2 when it was dictated.  Plugged in our number and was told it would be removed.

I keep getting calls from this number, and I immediately hang up! We are list in the National DO NOT CALL List, yet they keep calling?

The calls from the TOLL FREE number of 800-206-8439 may be coming from Bealls.  The number to be removed from a FEB 08 posting:
"Call this number to have your number taken off their list 1-800-315-7257"

Has been changed to another number given as 800-820-7943.  And this number is a controlled access phone number.  I guess we will all have to wait until next year (2009) when automated and unattended recording calls are illegal!  Go figure and good luck.  Half the "laws" on the books in this country are only enforced when it is convenient or when big money isn't involved.  Like over 75% of this country's working folk still get hammered when we least expect it!

I regularly shop at Beall's.  I reluctantly gave my phone number there the last time I shopped.  I can't believe they would call you during the work day, no matter what!  I am going to complain, LOUDly and CLEARLY....

I receive these calls from Bealls constantly and the woman goes on and on for several MINUTES about Bealls sales.....have answered and asked to be taken off however the calls continue....she is quite irritateing to say the least.  She and these calls are the very reason I quit Bealls!!!!!  Thank gosh I don't have a card there, besides their clothes are tacky.

Received a call once before. That time I answered, they told me about a sale coming up.  I thought they called to tell me because I shop there and it was an advance tip. I took them up on it.   Called yesterday. I don't remember their number! Anyway, didn't answer because I, too do not like unidentified callers. Googling now, and find out it is from Bealls. Yes, Bealls is affiliated with Palais Royale and Stage Stores. I seem to recall them asking me for my phone number once when making a purchase. Don't know why they asked, suspected it had to do with a promotional sale, but they already send me notification about this by mail anyway, so wasn't sure why they asked unless it was for security purposes.  Recently, my home was broken in to....this may not be a bad idea, but if you don't want to give it, don't.  I was googling their site just the other day, because looking for part time job. Thought maybe I might like to go there as it is close to where I live and a new store is opening. So then thought, after reading where this call comes from that this is why I got another call, because of an internet hit. Now that you know who it is, tell them not to call you because you are on the do not call list. Hopefully you won't be bothered anymore. But if it continues, report it to National Do Not Call List.  But I like this store. Shop a lot there.

Do not like ANY calls that do not identify themselves...if it is legitimate & I want to talk that is all right but otherwise is a nuisance.

My 90-year-old mother is getting repeated phone calls from this number during her nap time.  She has told them to stop.

Not true, I don't have a Beall's or Stage credit card and I get calls all the time.

You don't have to give them any number,  I have their credit card, and they always ask for my number, but I never give it. If they want you money they can use their on store phone number.

I picked up the phone and said hello and heard nothing on the other end.  I hung up.

Bealls and Stage are somehow connected.

You call constantly and repeatedly.  Several times a day, several times a week. I do not shop at your store. I do dnot owe you anything.

got a call from them... I found this site where you are all saying
that it's beall's or stage or palais royal(they are one company(fyi))
but the caller id says unknown.  I think stores/companies sd have to
have their name on the tele #'s.

I've never shopped at Bealls. I got a call from this number but it wasn't Bealls. They called themselves Stage-Doors. (never heard of them) I've been on the National Do Not Call List for about two months now. I seem to be getting more calls now before I joined.

When you call back 800-206-8439 they give you an option to opt out. I never opted in!

To put a stop to Bealls-Palais Royal calling you with advertisements call this number  1-800-315-7257.

And never give your phone number in either of those stores no matter what they tell you.

They can only call you if you are behind on your Credit Card payments.
They have no right to call you with advertisements or any other reason and yes you can report them to the gov.do not call.

We get the same calls very often, but it is from Palais Royal..

This number keeps calling to tell me about their sales.  I want off this list.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list.  Can they call because I have an
account with them?
