It might be from Ontrac, which sometimes ships packages ordered via Amazon dotcom. So if you placed an order via them lately, and are waiting for a shipment, that might be the reason. Or if you got a package lately, maybe it's a follow-up call.

It's a legit call from Ontrac regarding an Amazon delivery attempt.

Appeared to be a legit call but I was hesitant to give my address and they would not divulge the address they had on file (even though they called to 'verify' an address). We finally reached a compromise where the rep gave me the street name, and I told her the correct number. The address was wrong by one digit. I hadn't ordered anything from Amazon, so I'm assuming it's a gift from someone who has my address wrong.

Legit call from ONTRACK delivering an Amazon package. They needed to be let into my gated community to deliver a package.

Yes I did recieve a call from them and as Darla stated, it was from Ontrack delviering a package from Amazon.com. I was not expecting anything so I contacated Amazon and it turned out to be legit, it was a gift someone sent me. If you are unsure I recommend you contact amazon.com before giving any personal info to the caller as I did

I do not, but just received two calls from this number on Oct. 14, 2010. This was alongside other bizarre calls I had received that day about a missing woman in Fort Collins, CO. I have no idea what this is about.
