They have an F rating too. Thanks for the info I just filed my complaint. 3 yrs and they think if I knew that I wouldn't have filed for the coverage when I lost my job?

This company calls my husband 3 or 4 times every day.  They wont speak to me even though I tell them that my husband is never home.  Tonights call I told the woman to just send him a letter and then she was rude and gave me the 800 690 1532 number to call back.  On my caller ID there is a different phone number each time they call but always HSBC card service.

They called refused to let me write down a message and told me rudely that they would call back later.  I found out after calling them back from a number that they ramble off at the end of the call that they are a bank called Hong Kong Shanghi Banking Corporation and the address that they gave us was a po box in california but after I looked up their website they have no po box in california they have one in new york and illinois.  They said that they are a credit card company.  They are a global company and the second person I spoke with finally told me they were calling from the phillipenes (SP?).  She even had the nerve to ask for my social security number even though I was just asking what the company was and who they were!!!  I am very very mad about that one.

It is HBSC calling to put a "protection" plan on one of your credit cards.  They are a predatory lender specializing in high interest credit cards.  They host some Menard's Cards & some GM Master Cards or Visas.  If they put one of these plans on one of your cards, "google" the phone #, copy the page of reported rip-offs & forward it with your credit card bill to your states attorney general & the BBB.
Also include that in your letter of complaint to your credit card provider.

This is a sort of insurance program for your credit card. They say you can cancel at any time, but me and my husband have both called 3 or 4 times to  cancel and have been assured that we have be not only cancelled , but our monthly fees refunded, but....we still are getting charged every month!
