Kia 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
They call me day and night. Some kind of subfinder for Glendale Elementary schools...They need to stop!
Mger 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
Ireceived a call on Friday about 5:38P.M. Ido not know anyone under this number.
Wend 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
I got mine at 6:47 am
TexasTornado 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
It is used by my local school system for it's substitute teacher program and it is used to assign or cancel jobs.
Sub 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
Its subfinder to find substitutes for school districts.
Sava 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
I get them also...someone said a subfinder number for Glendale...I guess they mean Calif. ..I live thousands of miles from there....there must be a way to find out WHO for FREE out there in Cyberland...
subtoo 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
I work in Monrovia CA and it's our subfinder line.
Cathleen 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
They've been calling me non stop for months. At least 3 times a day. It's terribly annoying.
AJT 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
They called three times this morning and the voice message was "during this time press star." That's it, nothing more.
the kat 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
I believe that it might be a substitute teacher dialing system! I am a teacher for a major district on West Coast; this has happened to me twice in several years! And yes, the "calling periods are very early in mornings and at dinnertime.
Would be very maddening..hope that is what it is!!
Lisa 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
It's definitely the "Subfinder" automated system that calls to try to find substitute teachers to fill positions when the regular teachers schedule their absences into the same automated system. Many school districts across the U.S. use the same subfinder system. If you do not work as a substitute teacher for the school district but are receiving calls, then you would need to call your district's administrative offices to have your phone number taken off the subfinder list because maybe an employee of the districy entered your number by error because it was similar to someone else's number that they meant to enter.
Rocky 2011-06-06 20:58:24 Unknown
they call me every day!!Who?
BDON 2010-12-06 22:31:34 Unknown
ok, I guess it is Subfinder for District 2..for some reason they have 2 different numbers? Odd.
BDON 2010-12-06 15:39:13 Unknown
The Subfinder number for District 2 is an 866 number. No one knows which district this number would be for?
Jon Louis Mann 2010-12-03 07:38:25 Unknown
I think it is the same number for all districts when they request you when the office is closed.
Kim 2010-11-19 01:54:32 Unknown
It is "Subfinder" a system used to call substitute teachers from many districts.
AJT 2010-10-22 13:32:14 Unknown
They called three times this morning. The message left was "during this time press star." There was no other identification.
Ralphe 2010-10-06 16:13:47 Unknown
I just got this number Friday and am getting 6 or more calls a day at all hours. You can press star to cancel calls for the rest of the day but it starts again the next. Eating up my minutes and extremely aggravating.
I looked up the local office of SubFinder online since calling the 800 number back doesn't work. Talked to the office manager who told me to block the number.....duh can't on my cell plan. Only when I reminded her that the person who had the number originally may not be getting their notifications did she agree to try to see if she could find the number in their database.
Jon Mann 2010-09-23 02:48:39 Unknown
It's probably a robo call. No wonder the education system is failing in America!~)
Jon Mann 2010-09-23 02:46:34 Unknown
Call the sub desk and have them remove your name; more work for me!~)
Jon Mann 2010-09-23 02:45:16 Unknown
It's the sub desk. I work for SM/MUSD, but it may be for other districts that use the same service.
TexasTornado 2010-09-22 01:23:22 Unknown
This number is used by the Amarillo Texas ISD. It is used to call their subs for assignments. I believe it is also used for the purpose by other school districts.
jg 2010-05-03 02:45:56 Unknown
i got a call from this number as well. sometimes it calls at 3 in the am!
TexasTornado 2010-04-05 22:38:32 Non-profit Organization
It is by my school system for it's substitute teacher program and it is used to assign or cancel jobs.
PA Sub 2010-04-05 13:26:10 Unknown
I, too, received 4 calls from this number. One call was last night just before 8pm. I received three more this morning back to back. No one left me a message. This does, indeed, become harassment in the event there is no message left. If, in fact, it is the sub service calling, then they should leave a message else not call! How can one block this number?
s 2010-03-12 05:29:46 Unknown
Called me 10 times. I am a sub, but usually they leave messages when sub finder calls. This # does not.
pete 2010-02-23 23:47:56 Unknown
This number 800-782-3463 has called consistently 6 times tonight. This is harrassment...how do we stop this?
Iowa Guy 2010-01-29 14:23:33 Unknown
It's a sub-finder number....Listen to the message and if you are not a sub for that school district, contact them to take you off the list
Jenna 2010-01-25 23:56:46 Unknown
I got this call as well and when i call back it's some psychology number or something. SUbstitute number would make sense though considering I'm signed up for source4teachers and it calls at 6am.
