That's AmTrust (formerly Ohio Savings) mortgage department. I don't know why they do that, I've only gotten silence. I'm not late on a payment. Perhaps they want to sell me some other crap, or refinance.

Calls an actual Company and there is no one on the line...  I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with them.

I've been getting these calls as well, rather frequently, and ignored them, because I don't answer unknown or 800 numbers on principle. Well, I have a brand new phone number that I haven't given to anyone, sot there's no possible way they could be calling for me.

I also work a night shift, so getting these calls has been very disturbing, considering I'm asleep when I get most of them. I finally called today, put in the extension I was told, and actually got a rather nice woman on the phone who agreed to remove my number from their list. So hopefully now I won't have 27 voice messages on my phone at any given time.

We kept getting the same phone calls - dead silence & if you do not answer the call, no message is left. This morning after receiving one of their calls, I called the number back - Yes, it is AmTrust Bank.

The operator puts you through to their "Retention Department". The woman was a total jerk and said that they only make these calls to customers who are delinquent in their loan payments. We are never late, but she said we must be or we wouldn't receive the calls. I explained to her that the calls come once a week, there is never anyone on the line, and if you do not answer the call, a message is never left. Their phone calls never identify that they are AmTrust. She told me to make our payments on time and then they'll stop calling.

She wouldn't listen to what I was telling her about there only being dead silence when you answer the call. All she said was pay on time and you won't get the calls! She was extremely rude and hung up on me when I asked to speak to her supervisor. What an a**.  

Oh - the message you get when you first call their 800 # is that New York Capital Bank has bought AmTrust. Maybe they'll fix the problem.

Yes..I got call on my cell phone while my wife was next to me and no one responds to my Hello. But my wife has trust on me.:)

Today I got a call again from the same number on my office line...

What is the solution for this.

I get the call also but don't answer, they leave no message either. might be a lonely computer making random calls

These morons keep calling my cell, and dont leave a message.

calls at all hours, just got a call at 8PM on a Sunday.  No one ever there.  Frequent calls.  Very frustrated.

They left a message on my office phone, with their phone number and office hour. In fact the beginning of the message was truncated, so I had no idea who they were and what's that about. Only by searching the web did I knew that they were AmTrust, my mortgage lender. I then called them back. It turned out to be a courtesy call reminding me not to be late on my payment.

Call came in on my cell phone at 3:37pm on Mother's Day. I kept saying "hello," and no one would answer . I finally hung up and Googled the number, which brought me here.

I finally called back this number after reading all these comments.  The new legislation in place by Obama requires AmTrust to call ever mortgage holder and offer them the option to refinance their loan if they previously have not.  if you have missed your payment by even 1 day..they must call you.  AmTrust does not consider you late until the 15th of the month...

SAME PROBLEM. THEY KEEP CALLING ME WITH DEAD SILENCE ON THE OTHER END.  VERY ANNOYING

800-860-2025 calls twice a day. No on on the other end when answering...

I just got the same call from 800-860-2025. I must admit curiosity got the better of me so I followed the voice message instructions and called back.
  I spoke with a woman named Benita (?) who asked for my loan number (which I had to remind her I didn't have one since I've never heard of or done business with AmTrust Bank). She then asked my social security number (I told her I wasn't comfortable sharing that since, again, I don't know anything about AmTrust Bank or the people who work there.
  She then asked for my phone number and name.
  I gave her the phone number. After awhile she came back and admitted their computers weren't pulling up anything on that number and apologized.
  Definitely hope that's the end of it. It is jarring when strange entities seem to set their sites on you!

800-860-2025 calls my cell phone and no one is on the other end, they are using up my minuets for no reason.  This needs to stop.

These dunkopfs call and don't say anything when I pick up.   Not even any heavy breathing!
